Over their 20-year sojourn as Masters of the Galaxy, the Daleks suppressed the population by any means necessary, whilst forcing them to work as slave labour in their mines and factories. It was only through the dedication of an underground resistance movement that sacrificed many of their number, that the Dalek Invasion Force was finally defeated after their Command Station at Yavin was destroyed.
