Lady Amelia Windsor, his youngest sister, who is Protestant, remains in line for the throne. He was one of 17 godchildren of Diana, Princess of Wales. In October 2007, he entered Keble College, Oxford to study Modern Languages. He will become the first Roman Catholic to hold the title of Duke of Kent since the Reformation. Lord Downpatrick grew up in the locality of Cambridge, where his mother is an academic. He attended Eton College and is currently a student at Oxford University.
