| abstract | - thumb|Devoreermittler Prax (2375) Prax ist ein Ermittler des Devore-Imperiums. Er arbeitet für den Chefermittler Kashyk und ist dessen rechte Hand. Er ist den Prinzipien sehr treu und kennt nur wenige Vergnügen, so weigert er sich zum Beispiel auch Kaffee zu probieren. Er ist derjenige, der die Inspektionen ankündigt und die Instruktionen übermittelt. Er stellt auch ganz klar, dass er keinen Abweichungen vom Protokoll duldet. 2375 versucht er mehrmals, die USS Voyager zu Beschlagnahmen und die Crew in Arbeitslager zu bringen. Gründe dafür sind die Abweichung von Kurs und die Beförderung von Telepathen. Doch Prax findet nur Container mit Gemüse vor als er den Gesetzesverstoße aufdecken will. Kashyk macht ihm klar macht, dass dieses Versagen ihrer Karriere schaden würde und befiehlt Prax, den Vorfall zu vergessen. (VOY: ) Prax wurde von J. Patrick McCormack gespielt und von Eckhard Bilz synchronisiert.
- Prax was an officer in the Devore Imperium who assisted Kashyk in hunting down telepaths in 2375. He was very bigoted towards all telepaths, and took part in several inspections of USS Voyager to see if they were transporting telepaths. He was second in command and when Kashyk defected to Voyager, which was a ruse to locate the telepaths Voyager was transporting, Prax assumed command of the Devore ship. Even though betrayed by Kashyk, Voyager was able to send the telepaths through a wormhole and to safety. Prax wished to have Voyager impounded, and the crew imprisoned, but was overruled by Kashyk, who did not wish a failure to be on his record. (VOY: "Counterpoint") Prax was played by actor J.
