Tracing it's roots back to the ASWF (All Star Wrestling Federation), WCWF (World Championship Wrestling Federation) and the EWA (E-Wrestling Alliance) the PWE is the only federation to feature World Champions from those companies coming together to form a new federation. The PWE eclipsed all of those federations by its first year in operation and continues to be the measuring stick for which many E-Feds define themselves. PWE features an ecclecti mix of real and created wrestlers with some of its top performers being names like Shawn Michaels, John Cena as well as Sean Strife and Joey Mancini. PRo Wrestling ELITE prides itself in being an equal opportunity employer welcoming wrestlers from all walks of life and handlers that are even more diverse. People from the UK and as far away as South America have competed under the PWE banner as well as wrestlers from all across the globe. What makes PWE truly stand out is the changes it has underwent because of its participants. Establishing a strong Women's division from the day it opened it's doors, PWE has broken down the traditional laws of E-Fedding and allows the women to compete with the men. The PWE has some of the most sophisticated women's wrestlers that are actually handled by REAL female players. They have led the likes of Caitlyn Laurer, Gail Kim, Mary Sunshine, Trish Stratus and Shelly Martinez to ranks that men wrestlers and handlers have never before. PWE has only had a handful of World Champions in its over 3 years in operation because of just how hard it is to become the champion. To reign at the top of the PWE you simply must be, ELITE. The Pro Wrestling ELITE has also never had to vacate it's World Championship as so many other companies have. It's a strong lineage that dates back to some of the toughest competitors to ever grace the wrestling and e-fed genre. Pro Wrestling ELITE offers four major divisions, the World Championship division, the United States Championship division, the Television Championship division and the surprisingly competitive Tag Team Division. PWE has also had a World 6-Man Division and a Women's Division, but those were merged with the US Title in early 2007 to crown the incredible first ever United States Champion. PWE isn't an easy fed to get into, nor is it easy to obtain success, but what sets PWE apart is the dedicated players, the in-depth results with logical storylines and booking.
