He was also a member of the Jedi High Council throughout the Mandalorian Wars, the Jedi Civil War, and the Dark Wars. He was friends with fellow Council member Vandar Tokare, despite rarely concurring with him on anything, most notably the decision of accepting Revan back into the Jedi Order after his fall to the dark side of the Force. He retreated to Dantooine after the Conclave at Katarr as what remained of the Jedi waited for the Sith to reveal themselves, but he was killed by Kreia in the ruins of the Jedi Enclave when Meetra Surik had a council assembled to take action against the Sith Triumvirate.

Master Vrook is first seen on Dantooine along with Master Zhar Lestin, Master Dorak and Master Vandar Tokare. He appears as a grumpy old man, wearing a red standard(or blue jedi knight robe in the Xbox version) Jedi robe. Vrook survives Darth Malak's attack on Dantooine and was not present at the meeting of the Jedi at Katarr when Darth Nihilus attacked and absorbed the life-force of every being on the planet, which Atris leaked the knowledge of the meeting, intern killing many Jedi Masters (Betrayal). He then returns to Dantooine where he is captured by mercenaries and sealed in a cell inside a cave where he is to be sent to Nar Shaddaa to be turned into the Exchange for a very hefty bounty. The Jedi Exile can free him and subsequently organize a plan with him to avert the incoming attack on Khoonda, which will be carried out by Azkul's mercenaries.
