rdfs:comment | - The Greater Boros, also known as the Gt.Boros, is an enemy in Final Fantasy III. In the NES version, it is a relatively easy enemy to defeat, but in the DS version, it is a rather dangerous enemy as it can inflict Petrify with its physical attacks as well as having access to the Thundara spell. It is highly recommended to bring lots of Gold Needles as well as the spell Stona to prevent the petrification, or have a character equipped with a Ribbon or Aegis Shield. They are otherwise easily defeated with a single casting of Thundaga.
