  • A Friend in London was a Danish pop rock band formed in Vostrup in 2005. Lead singer Tim Schou won the contest Danish Young Talent which led to the band recording their first single. Soon, Danish radio picked up on their sound and used their music in promotions. In 2008, they won a Battle of the Bands which led to recognition in the United States. They soon toured there extensively also taking in Canada. In 2011, they won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and represented their home country at the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf with the song New Tomorrow, which finished in fifth place in the final.

They soon toured there extensively also taking in Canada. In 2011, they won the Dansk Melodi Grand Prix and represented their home country at the 2011 contest in Düsseldorf with the song New Tomorrow, which finished in fifth place in the final. The band released their album "Unite" in January 2013, which featured vocals by Backstreet Boys member Howie D and Canadian singer Carly Rae Jepsen. In January 2014, it was announced that the band hand split.
