| abstract | - Burnout Squad was the first Stormtrooper division's pyrotechnic squad. The squad specialized in flammable objects and weapons such as oil and flamethrowers. It was lead by ARC-77 and Lieutenant TK-1122 who was diagnosed with ADHD. The squad was based in the Imperial Palace on Akmir. As of 17 BBY and TK-1122s desertion, Burnout Squad has been an IARC (Imperial Advanced Recon Commando) squad with all members getting IARC instead of TK designations. Burnout squad served as Emperor Aktik's personal guard during the second clone wars. The IARCs of Burnout Squad travel in the Jawa-class transport, the Burnout. Most of the troopers are hyperactive and kill things for fun. Kloni and Courtland love to see things burn and suffer. Its members include the Commanders Fordo and Shiv, the lieutenants Kloni, and Backbreaker, Courtland, Alan, Garnett, Corrion, Desol, and the pilots Mauler and Backstabber. The troopers often serve with their former rivals the 501st on planetary invasions as black ops soldiers. Such as when the planet of Rodia turned from the ST Empire which led to the destruction of the planets water supply and ecosystem. As of 8 BBY Burnout Squad regrouped after Fordo was reinstated. The squad was separated for five years. However Backbreaker is the only lt.; Shiv died fighting Cerberus and Kloni died of overdose in year 12.
