One hundred years later Erudite was found and activated by a wealthy landowner on Corellia. The droid was passed between owners without the chance for the Genoharadan to reacquire it for years until 37 BBY, when the droid was sold to a Drall by the name of Mydak Sentrig. Sentrig immediately wiped the memory of the droid, which destroyed the previous assassination orders, so the Genoharadan sent an agent in 30 BBY. The agent was killed by Erudite, their own infiltrator. A second assassination attempt in 24 BBY was more successful, and Sentrig's possessions were auctioned off. The auction was held on Corellia, where Ryluk Shouja purchased the droid, outbidding the Genoharadan agent by six hundred thousand credits. The bounty hunter's guild decided against attempting an assassination against such a well-known target, and Erudite remained in Ryluk's possession. Erudite served Ryluk for many years and was passed on to his son through the will released. Akak used the droid's protocol functions as they were meant to be used, and did not even know of the droid's assassination and combat protocols until the Genoharadan tracked the droid to the young man in 59 ABY and attempted to assassinate him to reacquire the droid. Erudite protected his master in the conflict, killing the agent before he had a chance to complete his mission. Erudite was able to recognize the armor and weapons of the Genoharadan agent because of restorations of his wiped memory performed by Ryluk and established with the aid of his recent memory that the Genoharadan did not have many agents left to waste, and that the boy would be safe from attack for a considerable amount of time. After Akak's demise at the hands of an enemy soldier, Erudite was given to Akak's closest family, his sister, Corinne Urstath. The droid remained in the family until it's destruction in 458 ABY when it saved its master's life, falling into an active volcano to do so.
