abstract | - Heel de Wereld was the host entry to the Eurovision Song Contest 1958 represented once again by Corry Brokken for the Netherlands. This is the last we see of Brokken until 1976, where she hosted the contest in The Hague. The song is a chanson, like many of those at the time. The lyrics state that Brokken wants to tell the whole world her "secret". She wonders if perhaps the world is too busy to be happy, but this does not diminish her joy. On the night of the Contest, it was performed second following Italy and preceding France. At the close of voting, it finished in joint last place with Luxembourg with 1 point.
