- Mattey was born in Rochester, New York, is a graduate of the Virginia Tech, and is the cousin of actor John Mattey. Because of his height of 6'10" it's easy to spot him. He is also a stage actor, in stage plays such as "Of Mice and Men" and "Hamlet", and stand-up comedian and is one of the founding members of the comedy group "Small, Medium, Large". As a stuntman he has also worked on several live stunt shows such as "Waterworld" (2003-2006) at the Universal Studios.
