I mean, out of these two, I'd say A is the way to go, since B is heavily shadowed, but I want to wait until after the next episode(s) come out, so we can possibly get better options in the future before picking something. Now the lack of eye-line outline is a factor but not the deal breaker for me. What IS the deal breaker is cut off chin. You know that there is a bit of chin missing and it really distracting for me. Might not be for other people but is for me. I had a quick look through 289 but there doesn't seem to be much on offer. In fact the best pick of Tosen is unfortunately obstructed but I am throwing it up here anyway as 289 option B. I also have another where he's slightly bowed, option C, but the advantage is that you get to see his braids. It is, however, slim pickings. I would feel sorry for Tosen if I, you know, liked him. Tinni (Talk) 00:49, September 22, 2010 (UTC) Guys, let's move this discussion along please. Tosen's profile picture is pretty terrible and so we should resolve this as quickly as possible. For my part, I am going with Episode 289 Option B. Yes you have the tip of Hisagi's Kazeshini in the pic but it doesn't really distract from the picture and you can clearly tell that it's not part of his appearance. But the picture shows his corn-rows and the beads that style the end of his hair. Tosen's hair is special and that pic really shows of his hair well. Kubo took great pains in drawing Tosen and complained and he and Zaraki are the most difficult to draw because of the hair. We have to show off his hair! It's an important part of his character design! My vote would go for either 280 since it shows his full head and has a nice shot of this braids even if he's not fully looking straight forward, or 289 A, I don't see the cut off chin you mention, maybe his neck isn't fully shown but his chin is completely there, and it is a very good shot. I agree with Tinni, we must reach a consensus with this, even if I don't like Tosen either, he needs a new profile picture, his current one is just terrible. I don't know how much people care for the eye-line outine or his hair style (pointed out by Tinni) but let us try to reduce the number of candidates to two (maybe three) specific images. Now I support 280A, 289A and 289C. 289C is the one that I (currently) am most strongly supporting because it does have the hair style that Tinni suggests we portray, it is facing foward, has appropriate lighting and it does show a bit of his outfit. My 2nd choice is evenly divide between 280A and 289A. But if people think that the eye-line is important, than my 1st choice would be 280A. In the end, it does not look like Tōsen will have the "best" profile image unless somebody somehows find an appropriate profile pose that may have been missed from previous episodes. - Mr. N 21:04, September 24, 2010 (UTC) I say 289 B--God (Pray) 22:23, September 24, 2010 (UTC) I'd like one that shows off the hair a bit as well.
