The Sovereign plotted to force her to marry him, so that he could become King of the Olympians, by poisoning Zeus II and withholding the cure until she wed him. In contrast to Aphrodite, Aphrodite II was extremely concerned with protocol and propriety, and was always dressed very conservatively.
