  • "Almost Sunset" was a piece of short fiction written by Marshall Ferguson, and published in Playboy Magazine. It was about a guy and girl fooling around during a spectacular post-eruption sunset. Marshall had been inspired by his own fooling around in his apartment in Santa Barbara during a supervolcano sunset with his then girlfriend Jenny. Marshall briefly wondered what had happened to her but since he didn't remember her last name, he couldn't try to find her on Facebook so dropped the matter.
