However, Mario found Tubba Blubba's Heart, battled and managed to make it run to Tubba Blubba, making him feel invincible, but actually removing his invincibility. Mario then quickly defeated Tubba Blubba, and he then reveals that he is actually very sensitive.

He was "invincible", thanks to the powers of the Star Rod Bowser stole, until Mario defeated his heart. Then his heart ran back to Tubba and he was able to be defeated by Mairo. Once he was defeated, he ran away and released all of the Boos that he engulfed over the years.

Everyone says he's invincible because he has never been hurt. I'd say it's a good idea to run from immortal enemies! If you get in deep trouble, Bow can hide you from him.

In the credits parade (which is non-canon with the events of the game) Tubba Blubba is seen seemingly flying, but is really being carried by Boos, and Tubba's Heart is frantically chasing after his body.

Mario découvre plus tard dans un endroit que le Cœur de Tubba Blubba dort paisiblement et le bat pour que celui-ci rejoigne le corps de Tubba Blubba. Une fois fait, Tubba Blubba affronte le plombier qui gagne facilement et libère la 3ème étoile.
