  • Megalith is a stone statue from an unknown island. It attacks enemies by shaking rocks around.
  • Megalith is a monster that can be found in @warp beach_dun2. There are always 15 instant Megaliths in the dungeon, meaning that as soon as you kill one, another will be spawned on a random spot in the map. Do note that Megalith can teleport to a random coord when not in battle. It is known for its card which provides +7 MDEF on footgear if the equipment is not refined past +5.
  • An actual Big Daddy appeared as a playable character in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, its critical moves are: using Little Sister to drain enemies ADAM, enraging itself, and flooding the stage to immobolise fighters.
  • The megalith is a protoss machine in StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void.
  • The Megalith is a Protoss robot sealed millennia ago on Endion. Incredibly durable, it is invulnerable while in stasis lock. For attacking, Megaliths have a beam-type weapon to incinerate most targets in its wake. Though powerful, they are still susceptible to being overwhelmed with superior numbers.
  • mega-, lith- Indo-European roots Megalith and megalithic are compound words (mega-lith) formed from the hypothetical Indo-European *meg- (great, large, Greek μέγαs) plus Greek λίθος (stone). • A Megalith is an enormous Necron mobile fortress composed of living metal. The Megalith is fully capable of space travel as well as planetary landings, and is used to initiate full-scale planetary assaults against hardened targets, usually from planetary orbit. Similar in appearance to the Monolith, but far larger, Megaliths are capable of ferrying multiple Monoliths within its hull, and then releasing them like a swarm upon the battlefield once a planetary assault has begun. Beyond their awe-inspiring size and the ability to transport multiple Monoliths, the Megalith is equipped with an arsenal of devastating Gauss and directed energy weapons. See also American Heritage Dictionary : Indo-European Roots Index. According to the French Ministry of Culture, writing in its web pages about Great Archaeological Sites (in English), the term megalithic was first used in the year 1839. It was only in 1853 that the term megalith was used as a back formation from megalithic. The French Ministry of Culture writes: In common usage, a megalith is generally understood to be a large stone erected by ancient prehistoric man in the Neolithic and Early Bronze Age as a type of monument or marker whose precise purpose is disputed. One such megalith, e.g. a menhir, or a group of megaliths, e.g. a dolmen or a stone circle, separately or together with other features, such as tumuli or barrows, can form a megalithic site.

A Megalith was first encountered by the forces of the Imperium of Man in the hands of Nemesor Zahndrekh, a Necron Overlord of the Sautekh Dynasty, during the Necrons' Conquest of Uttu Prime in the Vidar Sector in the late 41st Millennium. At Uttu Prime, Zahndrekh's Megalith and its related forces were responsible for eradicating 3 regiments of the Imperial Guard's elite Catachan Jungle Fighters and 3 full companies of Imperial Fists Space Marines. The defeat at Uttu Prime represented one of the worst defeats in both those units' histories, and made clear the scale of the threat that the Necrons posed to the servants of the Emperor of Mankind.
