The Koslovic Empire was also known to be the first "perfected" socialist government, that blended western democratic ideals and strong private sector economies with the communist single-party systems and strong public sector economies of the east.

The Koslovic Empire, officially known as the Imperial Socialist Republic of Koslovia (ISRK), was a socialist republic and democratic colonial empire consisting of several subordinate nations, located in Europe and Asia with colonies across Earth, in addition to several extraterrestrial colonies controlled by the Koslovic Federal Space Agency. Formed from the unification of the People's Russian Republic, People's Republic of China, and Mongolia in 2148, the empire quickly spread and colonized several particularly unstable areas around the planet. The Koslovic Empire was also known to be the first "perfected" socialist government, that blended western democratic ideals and strong private sector economies with the communist single-party systems and strong public sector economies of the east. The empire's over 2 billion citizens were, at the time, the most of any country. It also had one of the strongest economies in the world, second only to the United Republic of North America. Its military was also one of the most powerful and advanced in the world, giving the ISRK a significant capability for long-term campaigns on and off the planet. The ISRK's space and colonization program also rivaled that of North America's, Germany's, and the rest of Europe's, allowing it to be at the forefront of extraterrestrial colonization. In 2160, the Koslovic attack on colonies of the Unified German Republic, another empire formed from the unification of several poor eastern European states and Germany after succession from the European Union, on the Jovian Moons led to the Interplanetary War, one of the bloodiest conflicts in human history. After suffering major blows by UN forces led by the United States by 2164, the Koslovic Empire was dissolved six years later in 2170 after fierce fighting in their home territory. After this, the Russian Federation and Republic of China, both democratic capitalist governments, would be reestablished in their respective areas for the first time since World War III and the Chinese Civil War, respectively. The legacy of the Koslovic Empire still exists today; the system of semi-autonomous colonies controlled by a strong central government used by the United Earth Government in the modern era was heavily influenced by the similar federal system used by the Koslovics. There is also increased political unification cooperation in the region where there is strong ethnic diversity, which is a result of the Koslovic Empire.
