Admiral Herbaer Argoll was a male human who temporarily served in Death Squadron on board the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Stalker and later commanded the Impregnable. He participated in numerous conflicts in the Galactic Civil War as an Imperial admiral, but he eventually defected to the Rebellion. He assisted in numerous naval operations thereafter, including the decisive victory at the Battle of Endor, as a fleet officer. Argoll became a reliable Republic officer and escorted many diplomatic individuals around the galaxy. He later fought against the Yuuzhan Vong in the following war. Due to the lack of backing by the New Republic and the superiority of the Yuuzhan Vong forces, Argoll was unable to mount a strong defense and was killed defending the planet Generis in the early stages
