Marrik Quee was a male Ithorian who served the Jedi Order as a Jedi Consular, serving prior to and during the Clone Wars. Born on the herdship Galactic Horizon in Ithor's orbit, Marrik was raised since childhood to become a Jedi. For many years, he was the Padawan of the Human Jedi Master Justinus Sensus, learning from the unorthodox Jedi before eventually becoming a Jedi Knight. During his tenure as a Jedi, Marrik served primarily as a Jedi archivist who tended to the Jedi Archives. Before long, he took on his first apprentice, a Lowen by the name of Sa'vana'tel Idos. When the Clone Wars broke out, Marrik refused to become involved in the conflict, citing that he was a teacher and not a general. This caused a divide between him and his apprentice, who went off to fight. Marrik stayed out of the conflict until Idos took part in the Battle of Duro. The pair were part of the Republic forces during the combat. However, years of warfare put a huge strain on Idos, who committed suicide during the Republic's retreat; she leaped to her death from a Republic attack gunship. When the Clone Wars came to an end, Marrik was present on Coruscant during Operation: Knightfall. Despite being inside the Jedi Temple, Marrik survived the attack and subsequently fled to the Outer Rim. He vanished to Tatooine, where he began a life as a moisture farmer. Marrik would later emerge from hiding to join the New Jedi Order, headed by Luke Skywalker. Once more, he served primarily as an archivist, healer and instructor. He was known to tutor many students, and initially refused to take on another Padawan before choosing the Twi'lek Daertha. He actively served during the Yuuzhan Vong War, taking part in many battles. He played little part in the Swarm War, but served again during the Second Galactic Civil War.
