"Grovk was a male Trandoshan pirate who worked for the Rodian Maako Tetsu. Tetsu and his pirates including Grovk became fairly successful and wealthy due to their criminal activities while working out of the planet Lok during the The Clone Wars. One ship they attacked during this period was a Republic transport vessel which drew the Republics attention to their illegal activities and resulted in a squad of clone troopers and the Jedi Pixadia Quen being sent to arrest Tetsu in [[starwars:19 BBY|19 BBY] and bring him back to Coruscant for trial. Quen and her team tracked Tetsu down to a cantina in the town of Do Pluza, Tetsu's base of operations, called The Twi'lek Temptress. Tetsu, Grovk and several other members of the pirates were drinking in the cantina, while most of the crew were spread out across the town, the squad arrived and the two groups quickly broke out into a fight. Grovk was amongst the first of the pirates to attack and lunged at Quen, who had not revealed she was a Jedi yet, with a Vibro axe. Quen then activated her lightsaber and slashed the Trandoshan across the chest with it, killing him before he could strike.
