Bats are extraterrestrial sapient organisms native to the Singing World (alternately known as Blind World or Planet of the Bats). Bats are recurring characters in the Viewtiful Joe games. The Bats are a group of three bats who live in the cave to which Ren moved in the episode "Hermit Ren". Ren mistakes them for a cow udder as result of the starvation hallucinations and tries to squeeze them. Bats are helpful creatures found in the Pink Puffle stage of Puffle Rescue. They start to appear in Level 6. If the player stands in an orange spot, they appear and will pick you up. While carried by them, the player can use the left and right arrow keys to steer them. Not much is known about them, but it is strange that they live in Club Penguin, as bats tend to live in places with warmer climates. Bats are extraterrestrial sapient organisms native to the Singing World (alternately known as Blind World or Planet of the Bats). (This Wiki is for the current, main timeline in which Bats currently exsists in.) Full Name: Chris "Bats" Walker In-Game: Bats, obviously Nickname: Bats... Guild: Currently none Title: Race: Human Class: Rogue Professions: Leatherworking/Skinning Age: Currently 41 Sex: Male Hair: Black (Was Blonde, but History should tell why.) Eyes: No one knows Weight: ? Height: ? Garments/Armor: Currently, when in battle, he wears his guild tabard with full Defias armor. Whenever he's at a meeting or has to talk with someone, he will wear his Blue Lunar Festival suit. But whenever he's traveling and has to run/walk long distances, he wears his purple dinner suit. Whenever not wearing his Defias Armor, he wears a Private's Tabard. He always wears a Red Defias Mask. (Whenever Bats had gotten minor brain damage, he had to wear a leather helmat along with his mask.) Other: Bats has worked for SI:7. He's an ex-assasin, and is only hired every now and then. He has killed many important people, such as Edwin Van Cleef (Supposedly), some Scarlet Crusade soldiers, many Defias members, various demons, many Horde soldiers, and many others. He has executed various criminls in the Stockades, and has cut down the Defias crime rate by 3/4 it's usual. Reputation: His reputation mainly lies in the Alliance, with him staying in Stormwind and sometimes visiting other cities. Bats visits Goldshire half as much as he does Stormwind. He works with SI:7 and they arn't friendly, but arn't enemies either. Sometimes he'll enter dungeons to kill enemies of the Alliance, which counts as an Assasination (atleast one) and he gets money for each kill. Any time he associates with the Horde is either by killing them or by rude gestures. The Steamwheedle Cartel is after him in Gadgetzan, but in Booty Bay and Ratchet, it's quite the opposite. They allow him to use their port cities as escapes during his assinations, only if he pays them a quarter of his earnings. Personality: Is deadly, otherwise friendly. The only people he's really mean to is the c/denizens of Goldshire. Is lonely alot, unless he's with his daughter and/or grandchildren(s). Bats has been kicked out of many Taverns because of his attitude. His nickname is earned by how poetic and confusing he is, and SI:7, but many know his nickname because of what he says. History: Age 0: Chris Walker is born Age 1-9: Chris lives a normal life with his brother, Eathen Walker, and his parents Ylonda and Werner Walker. Age 10: Defias attack Chris's home, killing his parents and burning down his house. During the battle, Chris becomes unconcious and catches fire. His face and skin is burnt to a dark brown. When he awakes, Chris kills the Defias that havn't fled yet, along with their captain. He takes the mask and wears it over his face. Age 11-12: Chris and Eathen hide out in Elwynn Forest, killing things they find and eating them. (Animals and such, they arn't canibals.) Age 13: Eathen and Chris are found by Gaurds, and live in the Orphanage. No one adopts them. Age 17: Chris and Eathen are hired by SI:7, after they become of legal age. Mathias Shaw is impressed with their survival and get them into pre-training. Age 19: Chris and Eathen are sent out to do their first mission. They attack Jerod's Landing, with Eathen waiting outside as Chris runs in and snatches the Dock Report from the Goblin inside. As they flee back to Stormwind, Eathen shouts out, "You're Batty!" Chris is now commonly known as Bats, and his new nickname is born. When they get back, Eathen is kicked from SI:7, and Bats becomes a Private in SI:7. Age 20-22: Eathen works within the Alliance Army, and has soon expieranced war. Age 23: Bats is secretly communicated by the I.C.A (International Contracts Agency) and is hired part time for assasinations. Age 24-26: Bats assasinates many less-important people, while Eathen continues to work in the Military. Age 27: Bats is then sent to kill Van Cleef by both the I.C.A and SI:7. He goes with a team of Humans and one Gnome. The party goes through the DeadMines, wiping out anyone they can find. They manage to get to the boat, but the Pyromaniac Gnome maanges to blow up the boat. As everyone tries to escape, Bats manages to stab Van Cleef in the chest. Soon after, VC falls hrough the wood and is presumed dead. After Bats escapes, he decides to turn in the death certificate to the I.C.A instead of SI:7. Bats recieves a larger amount of money, and SI:7 counts as the Quest as a failure. Age 28: Bats and Eathen visit the Darkmoon Faire. There, a Defias member pops up from the bush and shoots Eathen in the chest and the head with two seperate arrows. Eathen dies. Later that year, a funeral is held. Age 29: Bats marries an unknown Female Gnome. They live in Kharonos, and have a daughter named Moonika Walker (Her name is later changed to Moonika Copperbolt when she turns 24.) By the end of the year, Kharonos is attacked by a party of Orcs, and Bats wife is killed. Moonika almost dies, but Bats saves her. Age 30: Stormwind is attacked by Scourge. Bats agrees to help with the Combatants of Stormwind. When he decides to protect Old Town, his whole raid dies except for him and a fellow team mate. Bats gets his rank uppered to Corporal. Age 31: SI:7 gets angry because Bats refuses to do more and more quests. They send out a bounty on him. Bats goes into hiding. Age 32: The bounty is removed after Bats and SI:7 come to a compromise. Age 33: Bats continues his life, bullying Goldshire and living in Stormwind. He later finds out that Van Cleef isn't dead, and he goes out to find him. Age 34: Becomes heartbroken due to mysterious circumstances, and stops searching for Van Cleef. Age 34-35: Bats officially retires. Age 36: SI:7 issues a Code Red, and all agents are sent on the lookout for a Syndicate spy. Age 37: Bats murders a year old child, and goes crazy and evil. He is sent by plenty of members of the mothers guild to kill him. Age 38: Bats forgets all memory of anyone associated with the mother. Age 39: Moonberry, his grand daughter, gets kidnapped by two Night Elves, as does Zeak's son Celyn. Age 40: Moonberry is regained. Celyn remains missing. Bats dies for the last time, but a time rip is accidently opened and portaled, and another Bats steps out. This Bats is retired from SI:7, being able to go to Outland, and sometimes goes by the nickname Black, or Blue. Mixed Timeline: (This goes into whatever year it fits, since I'm not sure where to put these, if I'm too lazy, and/or I don't want some Lore/Timeline Mary/Gary Sue annoying me.) Moonika is married to Gailberry Copperbolt. They have two kids, Gailika and Moonberry. Gailika dies later from a Defias attack. Bats meets a demon he's supposed to assasinate by the name of Zeak. Zeak has been sent from Kel'Thuzad to attack and destroy Stormwind with his great power. Bats manages to defeat Zeak in a duel, and the Demonic power goes away. Bats takes in Zeak as his half-brother. Bats marries a Tradeswoman who has been stuck in Westfall. They decide to live on a farm. Later, some dark figures that are covered only in the dark come and slice his wife up top to bottom. Before they try to slit Bats throat, he wakes up to find them run away. He mourns his wife. A year or two later, Bats finds out that it was Morbent Fel's minions who killed his second wife. Bats raids the house with a Night Elf and another Human, and they kill him. Bats discovers that Van Cleef impregnated Bats friend, and decides to leave anything that deals with the Defias or Van Cleef alone. Bats has had various Pets in the past. These include Cats and Birds. Bats favorite Cats are Tib, Sam, and Blackey. The family pet, Mack, can be seen with Moonika most of the time. Mack was Moonika's partner for the Darkmoon Faire's Comedy Show, but they left, and Mack agreed to help entertain Moonika's children. Bats new pet, Coney, an Acona Chicken, can be seen with Bats. Obviously there are various time issues, which can only be explained by a time paradox. In one of the many, various timelines, Bats goes to the Caverns of Times and manages to obtain some of the "Essence of Time" from the Hourglass. With this, he changes the course of history and somehow manages to get anyone working with the Bronze Dragons to forget anything problematic happened. He takes part of the Essence of Time and manages to place it into his journal. With the remaining Essence, he gives it to a Goblin, and it allows a Transporter to literally go anywhere. I will update this page with anything that needs to be added, daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, etc. Bats were considered a good omen in Rokugan because they eat insects such as mosquitoes which were often believed to be a form of Gaki, and were capable of navigating even in the darkest of night. Bats were also featured in the "Bats: the Musical" sketch in episode 108 of Muppets Tonight, in which host Jason Alexander and his old college buddy Gonzo wore bat costumes for the performance. Leah the Fruit Bat was featured in the second episode of The Animal Show, and the puppet was later reused as Benny the Bat on Bear in the Big Blue House.
