Certificate (RuneScape Classic)
rdfs:comment
Certificates were items in RuneScape Classic that were used to trade items in large amounts. Players would take items to one of the appropriate certers and exchange them for certificates containing five of the item. They could then be traded to other players or un-certed by using them again on the certer. This was a tedious process when large quantities were involved as players could only create six certificates per inventory.

They could then be traded to other players or un-certed by using them again on the certer. This was a tedious process when large quantities were involved as players could only create six certificates per inventory. Certificates were abandoned in the transition to RuneScape 2, replaced by bank notes that were easier to create and could handle more than five items. Existing certificates were replaced with notes.
