Penny McGraw (1968-1984) was a runaway from Salina, Kansas who answered an ad for a modeling job in Miami, which turned out to be roles in pornographic movies produced by Sam Kovics. After beginning a role where she played a girl who was hot because her air conditioner didn't work and the only way to get the repairman to fix it was to "work out an arrangement", the Vice squad raided the set and arrested everybody, including McGraw. She was bailed out by Kovics before the police could get to her, and she was later found dead in her apartment (paid for by Kovics) from an overdose of pills and injuries consistent with a fall. It was assumed Kovics had a role in her killing, but nothing was proven.
