Cloak of Invisibility Cloak of invisibility
rdfs:comment
Cloak of invisibility are a cloaking device developed by K'kaan race. K'kaan investigators using cloak device when they are sent to other planets to determine if the human world was a threat to them. (RPG: "First Steps: The Stargate Unexplored Worlds Roleplaying Sourcebook") Cloaks of invisibility are a type of cloak in ADOM. They have base stats of (-1, +0) [+1, +0], those these do vary from time to time. It appears as a "fine cloak" when unidentified. The Cloak of Invisibility is a long sparkling cloak given to Graham by the Sea Nymphs. A note that reads "Only one use per wearer" is attached to the cloak. Graham used it to sneak past the Red and White Knights into Chessboard Land. A cloak of invisibility provides MC2 and invisibility. Its appearance is chosen at random each game, and (if you're not already invisible) auto-identifies when worn. Note that if you eat an invisible stalker corpse while invisible from another source, you gain permanent invisibility. Also keep in mind that shop keepers will not let you enter their shops if you are invisible, so you will need to remove your cloak to enter a shop. If you have invisibility from another source, see invisibility. The cloak of invisibility is one of the great treasures once owned by Manannan Mac Lir (aka Manannan). It allowed him to move around undetected.

Useful as an easily-removable invisibility source, which can bring an advantage in the early game. As any other item with this property it does severely increase food consumption rate, however.
