The North Pole or Arctic is snowy place at the top of the Earth. Only Animals lived there not people except Santa Claus, Mr's Claus, the Elves and the Reindeer who lived there. On the eve of the second Harmonic Convergence, Vaatu traveled to the North Pole in order to cross over to the Spirit World and battle Raava for the fate of the world. After the battle ended in Raava and Wan's favor, the latter sealed the portal, preventing any human from physically traveling to the Spirit World and freeing Vaatu. Two years after the insurrection of the Red Lotus, a still emotionally scarred Korra traveled to the North Pole in order to enter the Spirit World and visit the Tree of Time via the northern portal. The North Pole was founded by Santa Claus in the early 12th century. Back then, it was just an old video shame factory. But then Santa realized that Everybody was making video shames and Nobody was making old fashion toys. Santa realized how much money he could make, and he began the production of toys. The Oompa Loompas, away from their natural habitat, evolved into a new species that was better at making toys. They were called the Toympa Loympas. Santa thought this was stupid, so he renamed them elves. Ever since then, the North Pole has been a slave camp for the elves. The North Pole is the northernmost point on the Earth. It is located on an island in the middle of the Arctic Ocean, on the opposite side of the earth from South Pole City. The North Pole is recognized as a city in itself - as stated by Santa Clause. Santa founded the North Pole a long time ago, nobody is for sure. Santa used to only service human society. But then myths started rising from his first visit to Antarctica, and they were told that Santa Clause lives in the North Pole. Currently, the North Pole has a population of 547, mostly elfs that take up half the population, and the rest are penguins who volunteered to work there. (ENT: "Terra Prime") The North Pole is the home of Santa Claus, polar bears, Russian submarines, and a whole lot of snow. Dick asks Key .. to the North Pole? (WH23). Peggy says that It's right at the head of the lake. The extreme north of the Arctic, and only a few yards off the ice. You can’t mistake it (WH23). The goal of the project is for the NCR to know where to strike in case of war with the Badlanders. Although no definite location has been determined as of 2281, the search continues. Four locations have been deemed "most likely". The North Pole came about when a group of monkeys came along and founded the place. The North Pole is the home of Santa Claus, polar bears, Russian submarines, and a whole lot of snow. It is also the "hottest" property market in the world, thanks to global warming (which is, as we know, being fueled by all the hot air coming from Al Gore). The North Pole was founded by Santa Claus in the early 12th century. Back then, it was just an old video shame factory. But then Santa realized that Everybody was making video shames and Nobody was making old fashion toys. Santa realized how much money he could make, and he began the production of toys. Santa later realized that he wasn't making any money because he gave it all to his employees. He fired them all (with real fire), and then went to Loompaland where he kidnapped a bunch of Oompa Loompas. He then took them down to the North Pole where he trained them all in toy making. He didn't even pay them in chocolate. The Oompa Loompas, away from their natural habitat, evolved into a new species that was better at making toys. They were called the Toympa Loympas. Santa thought this was stupid, so he renamed them elves. Ever since then, the North Pole has been a slave camp for the elves. The North Pole is a snow-covered region on Earth in the Sonic X Zone. It is commonly said to be the location of a work shop run by the mythical Christmas figure, Santa Claus. Sonic the Hedgehog, sceptical of Santa's existance, once ran to the North Pole to seek out the man for himself, with no evidence of him being there. Before Sonic was able to inform Chris Thorndyke of his findings, Chuck Thorndyke took him aside and explained that Santa's workshop only appears on December 25th (Christmas Day). (SX: #15) The North Pole is a mix of the Arctic, Rooftops, and Highway stages. The snow and ice are softer, and the hills are smoother as in Highway. Beware of buildings with gas cans; if you miss the can you will not be able to reverse in order to pick it up. Coin progression is stingy; the best way to obtain coins is with Insane Air. After abducting Aang from the Spirit Oasis during the Siege of the North in 100 AG, Zuko sought refuge in the tundras of the North Pole, where he was eventually found by a search party consisting of Katara, Sokka, Yue, and Appa. Following a short battle between Zuko and Katara, in which the latter swiftly defeated the firebender, the group left the tundra to aid in defending the Northern Water Tribe from Zhao and his forces. Decades after the end of the Hundred Year War, Yakone frequently brought Noatak and Tarrlok deep into the arctic tundra, under the guise that they were going on hunting expeditions. In reality, he revealed his true identity as a crime lord from Republic City and forced his children to learn the art of bloodbending by practicing on wild fauna, including yaks and wolves. Following the outbreak of the barbarian invasion in 151 AG, a small fighting force consisting of warriors and waterbenders led by General Tonraq launched a counterattack against the barbarians, overwhelming the invasion force and subsequently forcing them to retreat into the harsh tundras of the North Pole. The marauders fled to a sacred spiritual forest per Unalaq's advice, under the belief that the warriors would not attack on sacred grounds. However, this was not the case, and the barbarians were swiftly defeated by Tonraq's men, who managed to subdue the invasion force with the use of waterbending. The confrontation resulted in the destruction of the spirit forest, and all captured barbarians were brought back to the capital. Angered by the destruction of the forest, several spirits attacked the Northern Water Tribe following the apprehension of the barbarians, but were pacified by Unalaq, who guided them back into the forest. Two years after the insurrection of the Red Lotus, a still emotionally scarred Korra traveled to the North Pole in order to enter the Spirit World and visit the Tree of Time via the northern portal.
