Pouncepaw's amber eyes darted over to a Twoleg cat carrier. It looked rather roomy, with small holes poked in the sides and top to let light shine in. A light blue thing covered the bottom of it. The youngest one, a male, squealed in excitement. The eldest Twoleg seemed to have silenced it, as it quieted down quickly. The older Twoleg kit, a female, tipped its head to the side as it said something.

Pouncepaw screeched in resentment as the Twoleg grabbed hold of his long tail. He whirled around, trying to rake the Twoleg's paw with his sharp claws. Pouncepaw's amber eyes darted over to a Twoleg cat carrier. It looked rather roomy, with small holes poked in the sides and top to let light shine in. A light blue thing covered the bottom of it. From across the Twoleg yard, Snowpaw and Greypaw watched in horror as Pouncepaw was forced into the small cage. Greypaw's green eyes were so wide, Pouncepaw could see the whites of them. He screamed again, but the Twoleg didn't seem to notice. It stuffed him gently into the carrier and closed a wire web door with a small clatter. The tiny brown tabby flung himself again the door as he felt the carrier lifted upwards by the Twoleg's large hairless paw. Desperately, he threw himself at the door again, trying to bite and claw his way out. He gnawed on the shiny black wire, trying to create a hole in it. As he bit, he caught a glimpse of his Clanmates, who were yowling their heads off. Snowpaw was swiping at the air, snarling. Pouncepaw knew that that wasn't working as he felt the Twoleg swing around and enter its nest. "We should never have gone into the yard!" Pouncepaw whined, pacing frantically over the soft blue item in the carrier. He growled at the Twoleg stench clinging to it, and he unsheathed his claws and dug them into it. His fur bristled angrily as two younger Twoleg kits - one a bit older than the other - raced over to them. The youngest one, a male, squealed in excitement. The eldest Twoleg seemed to have silenced it, as it quieted down quickly. The older Twoleg kit, a female, tipped its head to the side as it said something. Pouncepaw cowered in the back of the cage, pressing himself against the back wall. He whimpered, scared.
