Glitch is capable of becoming most objects, can project energy shields, and be used as a communication device. It can also hear its Guardian from great distances and can interface with other software, such as a system paint program. Like all key tools, Glitch runs on stored energy and its battery must be recharged. Glitch used to be joined with Guardian Dixon Green. After she was deleted by the virus Killabyte, Glitch joined with her partner Bob. Glitch was remarkably versatile and invaluable to Guardian Bob when providing information on anomalies such as Tears and Game Cubes that are otherwise impossible to analyse through ordinary means. It has a multi-functional scanner that can give accurate readouts on Games, displaying various colored graphs and dials, indicating the Cube's progress and state. Glitch's cogwheel also can form a useful blue speedometer to monitor the Game's current speed, darker colors showing something abnormal. (When Games Collide) Glitch is able to run a complete diagnostic on Tears by stating their class, polarity and volatility. By knowing this, any Keytool easily can mend the tear, or stabilize them into portals. (The Tearing) When a tear forms in Mainframe, Bob will have Glitch form a scanner with two probes searching for the energy signature, its screen would glow increasingly red in proximity to a tear. (Racing the Clock) Despite the sophistication of Glitch's scanner it does have it's limits, there were exceptions such as unknown-viral bugs. When Hexadecimal unleashed her Medusa Bug, the display went dark orange warning Bob this was an "Unknown file type". (The Medusa Bug) Whenever Bob is flustered during intense or stressful moments and he can't think clearly, in a panic he can order "Glitch: Anything!" While obviously an inappropriate command, the Keytool always seems to know exactly what the Guardian needs, and transforms accordingly for the situation at hand. (The TIFF)(Infected) Glitch is no match for a Gibson Coil Pike, the traditional weapon of a Code Master. The Code Master Lens used his pike to render Glitch inactive with an Ultra-High Density Near-Field Time Lock Mechanism. Glitch was unable to break free of this and the only way to deactivate it was by use of a pike. (High Code) When Bob needed to follow an escaping Mouse he ordered Glitch to trace her. The Keytool fired a small energy seeking object that quickly attached to Mouse's boot, the screen began displaying the hacker's location. (Trust No One) As the Web War came to an end, Megabyte crushed Glitch and shot Bob into the Web Portal without his 'little toy'. When he crushed Glitch there was a small exchange of code between Glitch and Megabyte, giving the virus some guardian code. Glitch, now severely damaged, passed to the new Guardian Enzo Matrix. Glitch was unable to perform most functions beside providing Game stats, and system scans. Despite Glitch's damaged state, he was still able to recognize and communicate with his Key Tool friend Copland. The two key tools communicated by clicks and bleeps, greeting each other. When Matrix found Bob in the Web, Glitch immediately recognized his true owner and rejoined with him. When they tried to return to Mainframe several traps laid by Mouse blocked their path. Glitch had the idea to join with Bob to stabilize itself in order to gain access to its higher powers. Bob reluctantly agreed and gave Glitch the command 'Download' and the two joined together into one being. They were then able to stabilize the Tear into a portal. Some would later refer to them as 'Glitch-Bob'. (Mousetrap) When Dot Matrix choose the fake Bob to marry, Glitch-Bob tried to separate himself and Glitch. He tried several different ways, all of which did nothing. Bob had one last idea, to use the portal seperating technique on himself that he had used to seperate the virus Gigabyte back into Megabyte and Hexadecimal over a year and a half earlier. When Bob tried this, he failed. The process encased him inside an impenetrable black coating. The Guardians tried to save him, but all their attempts failed. In a dream Bob saw a huge Glitch, and all the Key Tools returned through it, into him. Bob's body lost power and the Guardians were giving up, but the key tools returned through black portals, and used their power to save Glitch and Bob. They separated Bob and Glitch, returning them to normal, and Glitch received an upgrade in the process. Bob's uniform returned to its web dissolved look. (Null Bot of the Bride) When Bob appeared at the wedding Glitch took the code from the fake Bob and returned it to the real one, revealing that Megabyte had been upgraded to a Trojan Horse virus and was masquerading as Bob. Although both Sprite and Key Tool split back into two, Glitch had not only upgraded in appearance, becoming more streamlined in shape with an additional rod, the upgrade also increased its power exponentially. Bob could materialize beams of golden light into solid form and control heavy objects such as the wedding organ with ease. Although any material bathed in this projection could bend and constrict around anyone it seized, this wasn't enough to contain Megabyte alone. There were other enhancements shown by the Key Tool, Bob no longer had to issue Glitch vocal commands to use its higher-level functions in battle. (Crouching Binome, Hidden Virus)"@en . . . . . Only when they started tearing up would my gaze be broken from the screen and realize I hadn’t been blinking. Weirder things started happening when I blinked too. It started out harmless. Web pages would load really slowly. My mouse would freeze. Programs would start ending randomly. Nothing actually out of the ordinary. I would just refresh the page, reconnect the mouse, and press end now. But it got worse. I got on the computer one night to find it was completely shut down. I always suspend the computer when I log off, so this struck me as odd. When it started up again, it entered safe mode. After fiddling with the settings, I finally got it working again. For maybe two weeks things went on without a fuss. I was browsing a blog, just slowly reading and scrolling down when a picture showed up. It was one of those awful pictures of a dead body, like, someone who had been in a car crash or explosion. It wasn’t a pop-up or anything. It was part of the blog. I was a bit concerned, the blog made no mention of this and had never used pictures before. I scrolled down so the picture was gone, and the blog continued like nothing strange was up. I stopped going on the blog eventually. More and more gruesome pictures were showing up. I commented on one entry about it and was met with confusion. No one else was complaining. I wrote it off as some in joke to get rid of all the noobs. Other sites I frequent are taking up this shock picture trick. It’s becoming a real pain. I’m starting to fear clicking on every link. I closed internet explorer today to find my background had been changed to another horrible photo. I couldn’t help but recognize this one. It was one I saw in drivers’ ed of a particularly gruesome drunk driving incident. After resetting my background, deleting the picture I had apparently saved to my hard drive, cleaning up and defragging my hard drive, I opened the recycling bin to get rid of it once and for all. I was a bit stunned. My bin was full of all sorts of random things I knew I never saved. There were porn sites, illegal downloads, pictures, e-mails, and other files with extensions I wasn’t familiar with. I cleared them all and decided I get some outside help. I started looking online for any similar incidents. With no results I called Geek Squad, my Dad, and even brought the computer in to major dealers for a check-up. One large bill later, no problems were detected. Most even commented on how well kept the computer was. The pictures stopped appearing, but I almost wish they were still the problem. My computer now displays everything almost as it should be. But now, whenever a person is displayed, their eyes are gouged out. It looked like a crappy Paint job at first, but they became more and more real. I tried showing it to a friend, but the computer worked fine when he was around. I finally let my friend have the computer. He always commented on what a great machine it was when he was over. I’m glad to be done with it. I had just bought a much more updated one and after starting it up, I was very happy to see everything working normally. I decided not transfer all the data from my old computer to the new one. Happy to be done with it, I close the brand new model. It’s only nine thirty and I turn on the television, knowing that I can get a good night sleep after Futurama. Glitch's given name is Michael Reilly, which is particularly relevant since he's a corpse as the episode begins, gunned down with a bag of severed heads by a party or parties unknown. His street name comes from his tendency to be a complete screw-up, a trait which would have seen him dead long since with any other family. He has, just recently, abandoned a truckload of medical supplies on the freeway since he didn't think to put gas in the tank. Shea, another youngblood in the clan, had some kind of beef with Glitch, causing Brian to go looking for him when he heard about his son's death. However, under interrogation by Detective Ethan Slaughter, Shea reveals that he and the rest of the gang were told to cut Glitch off by Finn Rourke, the Westies' leader, who was tired of the endless bumbling of Reilly Jr.. It appears, for some time, as if rival gangs set Glitch up with the heads, looking to provoke an all-out gang war, but in the end Castle, with the aid of Beckett, Ryan and Esposito, is able to convince Slaughter to look again at the motive for the murder. So, they go to the Candy Kingdom to free her. As they run through the frosting and are about to be attacked by the a shadow bug, the guardians have come to help them. They are happy to see them. The next day, Vanellope is on the race. As she is about to finish, they meet a monster bug named Turbo, so they go and fight him off. But then, Elsa and Jack are captured by Turbo, who flies high into the sky as he tells them to watch their friend die by a shadow bug. However, she uses her icy bolt to zap him in the eyes and pushes him off as they use their Winter Blast to break the mint. Vanellope saves both of them as the soda lights up, then the shadow bug and Turbo are vaporized. The three land in a chocolate pond because Elsa loves chocolate, then Anna rushes to hug her and play with them for fun as they fix up the race. They help push Vanellope's car and finally win the race, then they see a magical light that comes from the man on the moon and see that Vanellope's true form is a princess of her kingdom. As they're back to see their sleigh again, they are sorry for her for what they did. Kristoff wonders if Vanellope's true form is indeed the princess, but she tells him that it's not her. So, she shows her real self. Anna is confused. She tells them that the man on the moon said to her that she's the missing princess, but she's also a racer. Glitches can be harmful, with such side effects as freezing or crashing the game, causing a level to be unplayable, or KOing a player for no apparent reason. Not all glitches have negative side effects, however; some just allow the player to continue playing the game as usual, such as the Black hole glitch, while others can merely be done for fun, such as the Name Entry glitch and all of its variations. Some can even be considered helpful in some ways, such as the regenerating terrain glitch on Jigglypuff and R.O.B. In competitive play, most glitches cannot be combined with a player's ordinary tactics in tournaments; a majority of glitches require prerequisites that are unattainable in a tournament setting, such as items, Final Smashes, more than two players, etc., or just simply have entirely useless effects. When it comes to the legality of performable glitches however that can have a practical effect, they are generally allowed to be used, as they are perceived to add to the afflicted characters' metagames, such as the Teleport in Smash 64 and Yoyo glitch in Melee. Glitches with only cosmetic effects can also be allowed in competitive play, such as Melee's stock glitch. However, glitches that break the game or otherwise cause matches to become unplayable for any party, such as by freezing opposing characters or making the user invincible, are universally banned from being used in tournaments; the Freeze glitch in Melee and the Infinite Dimensional Cape in Brawl are two such glitches that are banned in competitive Smash, and use of either of these glitches can potentially lead to the disqualification of the offending party. Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Super Smash Bros. for Wii U are constantly updated with new bug fixes and features, meaning that glitches can be fixed as they are discovered. Version 1.0.4 for the 3DS version, for instance, fixed a glitch where characters could grow to immense sizes in Multi-Man Smash via the use of Yoshi's Egg Lay. For a list of fixed bugs, see here. A glitch is not to be confused with an exploit, though the two terms can be hard to distinguish and are often used interchangeably. Exploits most commonly refer to mechanics and interactions that separately work as intended, but when combined, result in an unintentional effect. Wavedashing is one of the most prominent examples of an exploit. Glitches should also not be confused with an easter egg, which are intentionally added into the game as a bonus for players by the developers. de:Glitch"@en . . . After imprints, Actives are wiped back to their "tabula rasa" state, and are not supposed to retain memories of their former lives or their previous imprints. However, this process is not perfect, and an active may remember certain events or behaviors. Psychoactive drugs, head injuries or emotional stress may contribute to glitching."@en . . . . Some can even be considered helpful in some ways, such as the regenerating terrain glitch on Jigglypuff and R.O.B."@en . . "es.glitchpedia"@es . "A glitch is an unintended loophole, occurrence, shortcut, etc. in a game. It can be caused by any number of things, from buggy gameplay, to abuseable physics, to manipulation of the way the game handles things. Some glitches simply do weird things and possibly even break the game, and in some particularly bad cases, corrupt save files. Others can be beneficial, making the game easier, or even much faster to play through-- which is why they are often used in speedruns, particularly tool-assisted ones."@en . . . . He is created when Garfield attempts to fix the TV that Odie broke (thanks to Garfield scaring him) before Jon could find out. However, he throws away the spare pieces, which transform into the electronic/metal monster, who decides to trap Garfield into the TV. When Garfield makes it to the final battle, Glitch attempts to fry the cat with red and blue fireballs, which bounce off the walls. Garfield then must align the mirrors in the arena so they hit Glitch. After Glitch takes enough damage, he disintegrates, allowing Garfield to reach the final remote control and return to the real world."@en . "Timeman"@es . . .
