Mandalorian Mandalorian MANDALORIAN Mandalorian
rdfs:comment
You may be looking for the government Mandalore or the mercenary organization Mando'ade. Mandalorians are a fictional group of warriors from several races in the Star Wars universe that usually hire themselves as mercenaries or bounty hunters. According to Expanded Universe Star Wars lore, they are the cultural descendants of the exctinct Taung race. The leader of the Mandalorians typically takes on the title of "Mandalore", the name of their home planet. They have been the subject of various books and action figure sets, including The Mandalorian Armor by K.W. Jeter and Hasbro's Star Wars Elite Forces figure sets Mandalorians & Omega and Republic Mandalorians & Clone Troopers. Karen Traviss, author of Hard Contact, expanded "the Mandalorian culture" for the novel, as explained in Star Wars on Trial. They were originally divided into different clans (although they were still under Mandalores leadership). Each member would fight to bring honour to their clan. The Mandalorians were founded by a race called the Taung, however in later years became a collection of multiple species (although prodominantly human) including Wookiee and Twi'lek ( and possily Trandoshan). They were also mixed gender. When ever a Mandalore died another Mandalorian would rise to replace them, they could be of any species/breed and of any gender. with Sith interfeirance) declared war on the Republic. A Mandalorian is a character from the Clone Wars. Four Death Watch Mandalorians are included in the Mandalorian Speeder set 75022. Regular Mandalorians appear in theses sets: The Clone Wars set 7914 Mandalorian Battle Pack, and Pre Visla's Starfighter set 9525. All include a grey jetpack. The roots of the Mandalorian culture began on ancient Coruscant with a species known as the Taung. The Taung were a humanoid species believed to be native to Coruscant who were driven off the planet after a war with the planet's human settlers. After leaving Coruscant the Taung wandered across galaxy until the appearance of a great leader known as Mandalore, he would lead the Taung in a successful conquest of the planet now known as Mandalore. After capturing the planet they named it and their nation for Mandalore giving birth to the term "Mandalorian". Eventually the Taung began to disappear from the galaxy for reasons which were rather unclear and so the name "Mandalorian" soon became synonymous with the hegemony of species conquered and adopted by the Taung in their warrior crusades. Mandalorians were the inhabitants of the planet Mandalore. The majority of the population were Human. They spoke galactic standard, but their most common language was Mando'a, and were known as the Mando'ade in their own tongue. The bounty hunter Jango Fett, was given a set of their armor, which was later passed on to his clone son, Boba Fett. Each minifigure has a jetpack and a helmet, similar to Jango Fett's. Another famous Mandalorian in the Star Wars universe is Sabine from Star Wars Rebels TV Series and LEGO subseriess . Vezetői vagyis az Új Mandaloriak élé The Mandalorians (called Mando'ade in Mando'a, meaning "children of Mandalore") were a warlike, nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species. OOC: The first major Mandalorian group in Secondlife, was created by Dazzo Street who was the original Mand'alor. Creating a set of Mandalorian armor with various gadgets, this armour for many years was seen as the Offical and only armour of Mandalorians. Mandalorians were either: * Teh best thing that evah happened to star wars. They are so cool. There are Repuberlic commandos and kick ass bonuty hunturs and whatnot, and thay cen easily kill a Jedi. They are so honorable and stuff, and they have a dead language with loadza those squiggly things, like '. Mandos are kandosii. Mandos are mammals. Mandos fight ALL the time. The purpose of the Mando is to flip out and kill people. "You gotta love an elite killing force you can fool by putting on a hat" ―Marn Hierogryph * Mandalorians were thugs. They were strong, but had no honor whatsoever, they just used that to cover up their savage ways. One Mandalorian killed one Jedi. 99 times out of a 100, the Jedi would have kicked his ass, but Coleman Trebor used Form I (or II, III, IV, V, The Mandalorians (called Mando'ade in Mando'a, meaning "children of Mandalore") were a warlike, nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species. Often, they served as mercenaries and bounty hunters. In later years Mandalorian Warriors wore very distinctive battle helmets with T-shaped visors that covered the entirety of their faces, which would provide inspiration for the helmets of the clone troopers. These helmets would eventually become strongly associated with the Mandalorian people. The Mandalorians (Mando'ade in Mando'a, their language) are a nomdadic group of warrior clans lead by the Mandalore. Their culture revolved around war, which they believe is a source of honor and pride, and also required for growth. During the days of the Old Republic, they were often allies with the Sith Empire. Mandalorians, also known as Mando'ade (Children of Mandalore in Mando'a), were a nomadic clan-based group of people bound together by a common culture, despite being different species. Mandalorians are mentioned frequently in the Republic Commando series, as the central characters and clones live a Mandalorian culture and are related to the clan, or more specifically, the leader and official founder of Clan Skirata and his adoptive father. As the name suggests, their home base was Mandalore. The Mandalorians are a warrior culture that have existed since before the Old Republic. Homeworld: Mandalore Description: A Mandalorian is a member of a group of masked warrior clans in the Star Wars universe. The leader of the Mandalorians typically takes on the title of "Mandalore". Mandalorians are frequently allied with the Sith Order, most notably Exar Kun and much later as a prototype for the clone troopers under the power of Darth Sidious and the Galactic Republic. Eventually, Viszla caught up to Jaster and the Mandalorians on a distant world and, thanks to the treachery of fellow Mandalorian Montross, Jaster Mereel was killed in battle.

n19:abstract
The bounty hunter Jango Fett, was given a set of their armor, which was later passed on to his clone son, Boba Fett. Each minifigure has a jetpack and a helmet, similar to Jango Fett's. Another famous Mandalorian in the Star Wars universe is Sabine from Star Wars Rebels TV Series and LEGO subseriess . The Mandalorians (called Mando'ade in Mando'a, meaning "children of Mandalore") were a warlike, nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species. Often, they served as mercenaries and bounty hunters. Their culture revolved around that of battle and war being a source of honor and pride in their community. The leader of the Mandalorians typically took on the title of "Mandalore." Mandalorians were frequently allied with the Sith, most notably Exar Kun and much later as a prototype for the Clone trooper under the power of Darth Sidious and the Galactic Republic, though they would not hesitate to cooperate with the Jedi if it suited them. In later years Mandalorian Warriors wore very distinctive battle helmets with T-shaped visors that covered the entirety of their faces, which would provide inspiration for the helmets of the clone troopers. These helmets would eventually become strongly associated with the Mandalorian people. From the earliest days of the Republic and the Jedi Order the Mandalorians had emerged as a dangerous competitive force striking fear in the hearts of Republic citizens particularly in the years surrounding the Mandalorian Wars. During this conflict the Mandalorians nearly brought the Republic to its knees and had it not been for the actions of several rebellious Jedi Knights lead by a Jedi known only as Revan it was quite likely that the galaxy would have fallen to the Mandalorian crusaders. Sadly after the war Revan and the Jedi under his command would return to Republic space much like the Mandalorians they had previously defeated adopting the the mantle of "Sith". For several centuries after this period the Mandalorian culture would continue to clash and ally itself with forces devoted to fighting the Jedi. By the time of the Clone Wars Era, the Mandalorians had renounced the violence and desire for conquest which haunted most of their history. Under the leadership of Jester Mereel who authored the Supercommando Codex the people of Mandalore became friends of the Republic. However not all Mandalorians stood with Mereel and his attempt to civilize a savage society and so a splinter faction known as the Death Watch was formed. The Death Watch made several attempts to assassinate the Duchess of Mandalore Satine Kryze. Despite being of multiple species, they were united by a common belief. Eventually stopped worshipping their god and began worshipping war itself. around 4000 years prior to the events of A New Hope the Mandalorians reached their hight of power, and in 3995 B.A.N.H ( possibly with Sith interfeirance) declared war on the Republic. Brushing aside the Republic's navy they conquered many worlds in their search for power (although they were eventually stopped 34 years later with the death of Mandalore). Other engagements the Mandalorians participated in were The Great Sith War and the new Sith wars,(The Mandalorians being lead by a Mandalor who was also a Sith) again against the Republic.Though these are only a small number of potentially thousands of campaigns the Mandalorians fought in. In later years the Mandalorians became a mercinary army for hire under a succession of leaders, the final two being; Jaster Mereel and Jango Fett. The Mandalorians were eventually extinguished as a fighting force during an ambush involving a jedi called Count Dooku and their enemies the Death Watch another Mandalorian clan who the True Mandalorians led by Jaster Meerel were at war with. At the battle of Galidraan 44 years B.A.N.H., in which most of the captured ended up imprisoned in a maximum security prison on an asteroid called Oovo IV. However some Mandalorians are known to have escaped either being captured or from the prison itself, these include Jango Fett, Montross and Chopp'aa Notimo. Although defeated, the Mandalorians lived on in their enemies the Death Watch who themselves were founded by a Mandalorian splinter group led by Tor Vizsla and a larger group of Mandalorians that turned to a more peaceful existence (though never fully rid themselves of their armour or way of fighting and of which Boba Fett became Mandalore). Mandalorians were the inhabitants of the planet Mandalore. The majority of the population were Human. They spoke galactic standard, but their most common language was Mando'a, and were known as the Mando'ade in their own tongue. As of 18 ABY the Mandalorians had once again allied themselves with the Sith, though of late the alliance had provoked some contention among them. Some felt that the current Mandalore's alliance was more submission than partnership, and yearned to return to a simpler time when they were responsible only for themselves and their own culture. You may be looking for the government Mandalore or the mercenary organization Mando'ade. Originally, the Mandalorian clans were led by the warlord "Mandalore the First" and were ranked amongst the best fighters in the galaxy, thriving for battle. They were known for their use of cutting-edge weaponry and held to a strict code of honor. They were a gray-skinned warrior race. These Mandalorians wore crusader armor that differed from one soldier to the next. The Neo-Crusaders were led by "Mandalore the Ultimate" and started the Mandalorian Wars. The Neo-Crusaders armor was more advanced and uniform-like than their old armor. It came in many colors, though most were blue. Elites, sergeants, and a few other ranks wore green. Captains (and other ranks) wore red. Some other ranks wore yellow. Canderous Ordo, who would later become Mandalore, wore a unique suit of silver and black armor. After their defeat in the Mandalorian Wars at the hands of the Jedi Revan and Malak, the Mandalorians went into a long decline. Canderous Ordo, who fought side by side with a redeemed Revan against Darth Malak during the Jedi Civil War later claimed the rank of Mandalore and led a small remnant of his followers on the moon of Dxun. Ordo was also a key in defeating the Sith Lord Darth Nihilus on the battleship Ravager. Some one hundred years before the Battle of Ruusan, the leader of the Mandalorians was assassinated by the bounty hunter Durge. The Mandalorians struck back, and inflicted terrible vengeance upon the bounty hunter, but he managed to escape. Over the next few centuries the Mandalorians slowly transformed into a less-clan based, more mercenary-oriented culture. It was around this time that a schism occurred in their ranks. A violent splinter group, known as the Mandalorian Death Watch, revolted against the leadership of Jaster Mereel, who led the True Mandalorian loyalist faction. Eventually the civil war between these groups spilled on to the pastoral world of Concord Dawn. Here the Death Watch leader Vizsla attempted to murder Jaster. However, thanks to the assistance of a young orphan named Jango Fett, Jaster and his followers escaped the trap. Eventually, Viszla caught up to Jaster and the Mandalorians on a distant world and, thanks to the treachery of fellow Mandalorian Montross, Jaster Mereel was killed in battle. Jaster's protege, Jango, took over the reins of leadership, despite Montross's disparaging comment that it would mean a "child leading them." Jango's tenure as Mandalorian leader ended at the Battle of Galidraan, where a Jedi taskforce under the leadership of Master Dooku led to the death of every remaining Mandalorian, except for Jango. After this disaster, the Mandalorians were effectively ended as a force in the galaxy. Individuals survived on both on Mandalore and in other isolated pockets of known space, but they played little influence on galactic affairs until the Clone Wars, when Jango Fett became the host for a Grand Army of the Republic. One clone trooper, an elite ARC trooper named Alpha-Ø2, ended up going rogue and changing the Mandalorians forever. Through some fluke of the Kaminoans' cloning technology, Alpha-Ø2 had memories of Jango Fett. He went to Mandalore and started rebuilding the Mandalorian supercommandos from Mandalorian Protectors, police, and even Death Watchmen. Alpha-Ø2 became Mandalore the Resurrector and his forces fought for Confederacy of Independent Systems. Among his troopers were Tobbi Dala and future Mandalore Fenn Shysa. The Mandalorians (called Mando'ade in Mando'a, meaning "children of Mandalore") were a warlike, nomadic group of clan-based people consisting of members from multiple species. OOC: The first major Mandalorian group in Secondlife, was created by Dazzo Street who was the original Mand'alor. Creating a set of Mandalorian armor with various gadgets, this armour for many years was seen as the Offical and only armour of Mandalorians. The Mandalorians are a warrior culture that have existed since before the Old Republic. 99 times out of a 100, the Jedi would have kicked his ass, but Coleman Trebor used Form I (or II, III, IV, V,VI or MM (There is still much debate among the fans (I for one cannot tell how someone can possibly identify what Form of lightsaber combat someone uses with about 3 seconds of footage, but that's just me))) Mando language is ridiculous.
