SPIRITS (スピリッツ, Supirittsu) is a group of 2500 mercenaries hired to fight against the Badan Empire in Kamen Rider Spirits. Also known as Badan Hunters, the group was formed by Head Chief Sakuma, making Kazuya Taki its Captain, as back up for the Kamen Riders. Most of the mercenaries only took the job for benefits like money or a personal vendetta against Badan, not even caring about Japan or the Kamen Riders. Es folgt eine Aufzählung aller Spirits: Spirits is an enemy group that appeared during the Halloween Event 2004 and Halloween Event 2006. They appear when players click on doors and get a "Trick". Once a person's body can no longer support their life, the soul of the person ascends into the pure land, where it resides. Once in the pure land, the soul becomes an ethereal entity which is endowed with a very powerful type of chakra. This chakra is the reason the spirit is able to sustain itself as a sentient being, as without it, it would simply fade into nothingness. The spirit is still bound to the real world by their emotional attachments, however, this being the reason why they are able to be invoked from those who are bound to the impure land. Were the spirit to be returned to a physical body, this chakra would simply dissipate into the surroundings as wasted energy, as it would no longer be needed to sustain it. Once the spirit has been summoned to the physical world, it is typic Spirits of those who wish to not leave this world, the fragmented Arcane remains of a mortal who lurk the Realm of Aevonhold attached to the mysterious Astral Plane. Confused and agitated, spirits lurk the realm walking through walls and watching from distances. Some spirits are able to communicate directly, while others may be flickering glimpses of ghostly apparitions. The twenty Spirits can be used by both humans and Digimon; a human-type "H" Spirit will allow the user to employ the intelligent, human aspects of its corresponding warrior by spirit evolving into a Hybrid-level human Digimon that possesses Champion-level power, while a beast-type "B" Spirit will instead allow them to use the powerful, bestial aspects of the warrior by spirit evolving into a Hybrid-level beast Digimon that possesses Ultimate-level power. The "H" and "B" Spirits of Darkness are actually corrupted forms tainted by Cherubimon; their natural forms are called the "L" and "K" Spirits, after Loweemon and KaiserLeomon. By using both the "H" and "B" Spirits of one element together in order to perform Fusion Evolution, the user can take on a "Fusion Form" that possesses Mega-level p Spirits is a literature Warriors fanfiction created by Mistleheart. It is set in an arc titled Shadows of Dawn that has six books. Spirits is the first in the arc. Note: As of April 2010, this page is pending a merge to the Ritual page. The ancient peoples believed in spirits that existed in everything around them. By appeasing the spirits, they could convince them to help, while angering them would bring a calamity. In the Unreal World, some rituals can appease them, the most obvious being ones involving sacrifice. Another way to appease them is to sacrifice iron weapons in a bog. To do so, wait until night time and throw an iron object into a pool of water in a bog. This is one of the tasks in the Advanced adventures course. Spirits, also called "shades," are the souls of dead people who can't go on. Unlike ghosts, their minds are still strong, thus they can hold their appearance and personality and basically act the same like they did when alive. Spirits usually are held on the living plane for some reason and are thankful for help to free them from these chains. Once this happens, the spirit is free to escape to the void to find peace or be reborn. Spirits usually are found near the place where they had died or some place to which they are especially connected. "Spirits" is the thirteenth episode of the second season of Stargate SG-1. Spirits are a type of alcoholic drink in Fable II. They heal you as well as decrease purity, increase fatness and give you Skill experience. Spirits are sentient beings originating from the metaplanes. Under some circumstances, they can cross the gap between their dimension and ours. A lot of magical tradition manage to invoke a specific set of spirits. Spirits are enemies in the game Ditto. They are one of the only two enemies to appear in the game. Spirits is a not-too-high-class, not-too-low-class nightclub located in Jynton, Rothana. It is just upscale enough to exclude the city's general riff-raff, but just lowscale enough to be unattractive to Imperial personnel of any importance. It was here that, during a performance by The Luminous Three, the dancers' manager Inex Jonn introduced himself to Fiola Shaku. "All creatures derive from God and from nothingness." all spiritual religions are an animism. monotheism included. The Hellenistic Greeks divided daemons into good and evil categories: agathodaimōn (ἀγαθοδαίμων "noble spirit"), from agathós (ἀγαθός "good, brave, noble, moral, lucky, useful"), and kakódaimōn (κακοδαίμων "malevolent spirit"), from kakós (κακός "bad, evil"). They resemble the jinn (or genie) of Arab folklore, and in their humble efforts to help mediate the good and ill fortunes of human life, they resemble the Christian guardian angel and adversarial demon, respectively. Eudaimonia (εὐδαιμονία), the state of having a eudaemon, came to mean "well-being" or "happiness". The comparable Roman concept is the genius who accompanies and protects a person or presides over a place (se The various guardian spirits, that help you on your adventure. The Spirits are minor characters in A Christmas Carol. Like the ghost of Jacob Marley, these spirits are all bound in chains that represent their accumilated sins. All of these spirits also have various heavy objects attached to the chains such as bank safes, giant coins, giant padlocks, giant keys. Some spirits were even chained up to even other spirits (presumably these were corrupt government members in life). In life, like Jacob Marley and Ebenezer Scrooge, these spirits were cruel and bitter individuals. Spirits are the manifestations of ghostly or spiritual energies. Fox Spirits, Ghosts and Mask Spirits are all in this category. All humans are spiritual beings. When they die, their spirits are released to find their way to the underworld. The journey eases the transition from life to death. If their time among the living was troubled or painful, spirits sometimes get lost. They can seem almost alive and are often mistaken for living creatures. Usually they say what they need to say and then are drawn to the underworld. Spirits can be found scattered all over Riveria. Spirit of Fire, Spirit of Water, Spirit of Earth, Spirit of Light, Spirit of Darkness and Spirit Of Air. They can be collected by Wizards and stored in their staffs in order to unlock magical attacks. A Wizard may only have one of each spirit. "Spirits" is the thirteenth episode of the second season of Stargate SG-1. Every day when you login to LoRD for the first time, you will be either in "High Spirits" or "Low Spirits". Your odds are better for being in High Spirits than Low. But if you are entering the realm in a hurry you might not see which you have, and once that screen is gone, there is no way to tell whether your spirits are high or low except to try to use them in the Forest. Spirits are disembodied beings who exist in an otherworldly plane of existence known as Sheol or some other dimension. Some spirits, specifically those who have learned to appreciate their lives and forgive God for His indifference, ascend from Sheol into Heaven. The original spirits were the newly developed souls of humans who passed into Sheol upon their deaths. They remained in Sheol where they could still feel the presence of their living counterparts on Earth. Amel was among the original generation of spirits. All humans and vampires who die descend into Sheol and become spirits. During the times of the Angelou, humans and the Icarians were gifted with the capability to see the Spirits in their purest form. But ever since the world was cursed by the creation of Gaia, mankind lost their capability to interact and to see the Spirits. Even so, the Spirits wanted to have reconciliation with humans and Justin was the one chosen to destroy Gaia and to bridge open the human to what was once the original state of nature. Now, Spirits are seen very rarely and never interact with humans. This is a fanfiction series written by Gingerear. I am rating this story as Worse. The Final Battle has been won, and the Clans are at peace, including StarClan. Or is StarClan at peace? For there is something dark lurking in the shadows, and no one knows what it is ... Spirits are a consumable item in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It appears under at least two brands: * Aiswine Ice Rice Liquor * Zhenchuan Moutai The Spirits appear randomly in the map and, depending on their moods, you can go from wild success to drastic failure - or just the opposite. The powers of the spirits change depending on the mode you play. |} The Umbra houses a staggering variety of spirits. They are creature of raw soul force that are not intertwined with flesh and blood. Some are related closely to beings in the physical world, but many are unique to the Umbra and are difficult to describe in physical terms. -Werewolf: the Apocalypse. Revised edition, pp. 234 Spirits are spiritual bodies used by Gaia as a sense of touch, and anything that interferes with them is considered a contradiction. There are several types of spirits and despite the fact that they can be found everywhere only those humans who possess a spiritual affinity can perceive them. Spirits are generally harmless to people, but those of the elemental class are of such a dimension that they can be perceived and interact with people by taking a physical form. Presently, science cannot interfere with spiritual bodies and modern Magecraft cannot reproduce mysteries of such scale. Spirits may refer to: * Ainur, Valar, Maiar, Demons and Spirits of Arda * the fëar or Souls. * Ghosts Ghosts and Poltergeists are minor spirits, whose anger and power quickly fade. The Spectre and the Banshee, however, are creatures of a far purer force. They are cursed by their own crimes, be they murder, defilement, or the violation of a sworn stricture or solemn vow, and their punishment is their imprisonment between the realms, eternally chastised by their own guilt. This torment soon drives them mad, and they lash out at the living with incoherent rage. The Spectre can draw away the life of a Human with a touch, whilst the Banshee can do the same with a scream. Those who survive such attacks are rarely sane afterwards.[3a] "Spirits" är den trettonde avsnittet av andra säsongen av Stargate SG-1. A spirit is the essence of a being that persists after death.

This is a fanfiction series written by Gingerear. I am rating this story as Worse. The Final Battle has been won, and the Clans are at peace, including StarClan. Or is StarClan at peace? For there is something dark lurking in the shadows, and no one knows what it is ... Spirits is an enemy group that appeared during the Halloween Event 2004 and Halloween Event 2006. Once the spirit has been summoned to the physical world, it is typically bound to the will of its summoner, and forced to give its chakra to them in order for them to be able to use their power for various techniques. When a spirit is summoned, they appear as flickering apparitions for a brief moment, before transferring their power to their summoner. The Spirits appear randomly in the map and, depending on their moods, you can go from wild success to drastic failure - or just the opposite. The powers of the spirits change depending on the mode you play. Spirits are spiritual bodies used by Gaia as a sense of touch, and anything that interferes with them is considered a contradiction. Most times to communicate with them, the Seance spell is needed. |} Spirits are a type of alcoholic drink in Fable II. They heal you as well as decrease purity, increase fatness and give you Skill experience. "Spirits" is the thirteenth episode of the second season of Stargate SG-1. The comparable Roman concept is the genius who accompanies and protects a person or presides over a place (see genius loci). "Dæmon" is the Latin version of the Greek "δαίμων" ("godlike power, fate, god"). The word "deity" derives from the Latin deus ("god"), which is related through a common Indo-European origin to Sanskrit deva ("god"), devi("goddess"), divya ("transcendental", "spiritual"). The root is related to words for "sky", such as Latin dies ("day"), and the Sanskrit div, divus, diu ("sky", "day", "shine"). Also related are "divine" and "divinity," from the Latin "divinus," from "divus." Allah is used by Muslims for the I of god. The Persian word Khuda (Persian: خدا) can be translated as god, lord or king, and is also used today to refer to God in Islam by Persian and Urdu speakers. An angel, especially according to Abrahamic religions and Zoroastrianism, is a spiritual being superior to humans in power and intelligence. a deity. Angelology is that branch of theology which treats of angels. Angels (from αγγελōς = messenger, Greek equivalent of the Hebrew ) are according to the usual conception superhuman beings dwelling in heaven, who, on occasion, reveal to man god's will and execute its commands. In one form or another, the belief in angels appears in the earliest stages of Jewish history, and continues to live in the spiritual world of the Jews and those professing the religions that sprang from Judaism; namely, Christianity and Mohammedanism. It can not be denied that the belief in such beings was also held by other peoples and other religions; Jewish Angelology can hardly be said to have ever been reduced to a complete system, such as is maintained by the Catholic Church (Oswald, "Angelologie, die Lehre von den Guten und Bösen Engeln im Sinne der Katholischen Kirche," Paderborn, 1883). To admit of a comprehensive survey of the historical development of Angelology, the subject may best be treated according to three periods: (1) the Biblical, (2) the Talmudical and Midrashic, and (3) the Medieval. Angels are powerful and dreadful, endowed with wisdom and with knowledge of all earthly events, correct in their judgment, holy, but not infallible; for they strive with each other, and God has to make peace between them. When their duties are not punitive, angels are beneficent to man (Ps. ciii. 20, lxxviii. 25; II Sam. xiv. 17, 20, xix. 28; Zech. xiv. 5; Job, iv. 18, xxv. 2). Most of them serve either as intermediaries between Heaven and Earth, or as guardian & guiding spirits. They are studied in the theological doctrine of angelology. In Christian Science, the word "angel" is used to refer to an inspiration from God. The use of the term has extended to refer to artistic depictions of the beings, and it is also used figuratively to refer to messengers and harbingers, and to people who possess high qualities of goodness, purity, selflessness Spirits are the manifestations of ghostly or spiritual energies. Spirits are the departed who have failed to get to the 'other side' and are left in the mortal world, confused and angry. If a person's life is very traumatic, his or her spirit can lose its way for a long time. They can go mad trapped in the world of the living. Maddened spirits change, they lose their connection to the living world and begin to channel darker emotions thus making them very dangerous. Spirits can't die but they can be fought. In defeat, they are disrupted and can't reform for a time. The spirits are first encountered in the battle against the bandits and the Lotus Assassin in the Two Rivers beach. Spirits is a literature Warriors fanfiction created by Mistleheart. It is set in an arc titled Shadows of Dawn that has six books. Spirits is the first in the arc. In older versions, appeasing the spirits was important, as they would send dangerous animals next to you if they were angry, or even things such as forest fires and plagues. However, in the current version 3.12b, the spirits appear to be nerfed and cannot do anything, whether good or bad. They do not even have to like you for you to learn new rituals. Spirits are sentient beings originating from the metaplanes. Under some circumstances, they can cross the gap between their dimension and ours. A lot of magical tradition manage to invoke a specific set of spirits. * Shamans and Druids invoke Nature Spirits * Toxic Shamans invoke Toxic Spirits * Insect Shamans invoke specific Insect Spirits (cf, Chicago, and Bug City) * Hermetic Magicians invoke Elementals * Wujen invoke Spirits of the Elements and Ancestor Spirits * Tír na nÓg followers of the wheel are rumored to invoke the Wild Hunt at a high rank. * Initiates, who use Blood Magic are able to invoke Blood Spirits * Houngans, Mambos and Voodoonistas may summon the Loa Spirits of those who wish to not leave this world, the fragmented Arcane remains of a mortal who lurk the Realm of Aevonhold attached to the mysterious Astral Plane. Confused and agitated, spirits lurk the realm walking through walls and watching from distances. Some spirits are able to communicate directly, while others may be flickering glimpses of ghostly apparitions. Unable to remember their death or any information afterwards, their recollection of events is spotty and for the most part spirits will carry out routine tasks from when they were still alive. Spirits always have a reason for their haunting and that does not change until they pass on. A spirit may be of a , of recent times or long ago. New information is poison to a spirit, and when presented with anything that differs from their past life, spirits react in many different ways. Anger, sadness or outright insanity may swallow the spirit whole if their version of reality is threatened in any way. Much of the spirits from times long past do not age well, their connection to the Astral Plane may even be snuffed out completely. Much of the ancient spirits recorded in books on the light, tomes and older oral tradition have been portrayed as angry, malicious and dangerous spirits that barely mirror their former selves. Both Beastfolk and Werewolves do not manifest as spirits as their connection to the Astral Plane has been damaged beyond repair either through unstable Arcane energy surging throughout their bodies or the curse of Lycanthropy, which damages the connection greatly. The name SPIRITS, as Annrietta Birkin tells Ryo Murasame, came from Taki himself. A message below the emblem (Saving Project Incorporate with Kamen Riders on ImmorTal Soul) shows highlighted letters to form the word SPIRITS. The Umbra houses a staggering variety of spirits. They are creature of raw soul force that are not intertwined with flesh and blood. Some are related closely to beings in the physical world, but many are unique to the Umbra and are difficult to describe in physical terms. -Werewolf: the Apocalypse. Es folgt eine Aufzählung aller Spirits: "Spirits" is the thirteenth episode of the second season of Stargate SG-1. A spirit is the essence of a being that persists after death. Spirits are enemies in the game Ditto. They are one of the only two enemies to appear in the game. "Spirits" är den trettonde avsnittet av andra säsongen av Stargate SG-1. Spirits are a consumable item in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It appears under at least two brands: * Aiswine Ice Rice Liquor * Zhenchuan Moutai Spirits can be found scattered all over Riveria. Spirit of Fire, Spirit of Water, Spirit of Earth, Spirit of Light, Spirit of Darkness and Spirit Of Air. They can be collected by Wizards and stored in their staffs in order to unlock magical attacks. A Wizard may only have one of each spirit. Spirits may refer to: * Ainur, Valar, Maiar, Demons and Spirits of Arda * the fëar or Souls. * Ghosts The Spirits are minor characters in A Christmas Carol. By using both the "H" and "B" Spirits of one element together in order to perform Fusion Evolution, the user can take on a "Fusion Form" that possesses Mega-level power, and by using the "H" and "B" spirits of five separate elements to perform Unified Spirit Evolution, they can reach an even more powerful "Transcendent Form". By using all twenty spirits together to perform Ancient Spirit Evolution to Susanoomon, the user can realize the ultimate manifestation of the Ten Legendary Warriors. Although the human forms are fairly easy to use, the beast forms require self-discipline to master, and the higher forms require a miraculous blessing to even attain. Ghosts and Poltergeists are minor spirits, whose anger and power quickly fade. Those who survive such attacks are rarely sane afterwards.[3a] The Wraith is an even more powerful spirit. It too is driven to violence and insanity, but its rage is far greater. Wraiths are the spirits of great necromancers who experimented with the blackest magic in order to acquire immortality—and failed, leaving only an echo of their identity on the Winds of Dhar they manipulated. To come so close to their goal yet be denied drives them instantly insane and fills them with an unimaginable hatred for the living, whose souls they take great pleasure in draining away. They carry ethereal scythes and are often confused with images of Morr—and they most certainly bring only death wherever they pass.[3a] To even behold a Wraith, Spectre, or Banshee can be enough to scare a mortal to death. As spirits, they are all also invisible to the naked eye and immune to mundane weapons. They can pass through all barriers and fly across the land at incredible speeds. They can thus single-handedly devastate any armies who have not already fled in terror.[3b] However, the force of will that keeps the spirit present means that summoning and controlling them is far from simple. Vampires prefer to use them as guards, luring them to specific locations where they will happily slaughter any trespassers. A powerful Spectre can protect an entire castle from intruders for millennia and thank his master for the constant supply of souls.[3b] Spirit Hosts are sometimes raised for war by powerful Vampires (and certain particularly evil Necromancers). These are made up of a mixture of Ghosts and Spectres. Spectres are particularly favoured for this task, since they can inflict significant damage on the enemy, but most Spirit Hosts are rounded out by a fair number of Ghosts. Although Ghosts cannot harm the living directly, they are capable of forcing their enemies to flee in fear, and that can be almost as useful on the battlefield.[1a] Many Spirits are unable to stray far from their place of death, though the precise distance they can wander is enormously varied, depending on such factors as the willpower of the Spirit when alive, the number of years since its death, and how determined it is to achieve its release.[1a] The dead do not rest easy in the Old World. The various Spirits of the dead often return to haunt the lands of the living. Some seek only release, while others hate the living with such passion that they give themselves over to evil.[1a] The various guardian spirits, that help you on your adventure. Not all spirits were human or inhabit Sheol. Angels, celestial spirits of God, live in Heaven with God, the only exception being Memnoch, who lives in Sheol to tend its spirits. According to Memnoch, angels who take on human flesh become mortal and, when they die, become trapped in Sheol like all the other spirits.
