In the game, he is Sir Grodus's second hand whom always fails to capture the Crystal Stars and defeats Mario and crew. He appears three times first, being the first enemy fought in the game. He then gets his army of X-Nauts to ambush Mario after but he gets away. He appears in Chapter 2 being the main boss and uses the robot, Magnus von Grapple to help. Mario defeats him and destroys the robot and takes the Emerald Star. He appears in Keelhaul Key disguised. After Mario defeats Cortez and receives the Sapphire Star Crump appears on an X-Naut battleship and attacks the island demanding the Star. But he and his army are defeated. He then appears on the moon in the X-Naut Fortress using Magnus von Grapple 2.0 powered by the Crystal Star (the last Crystal Star not to be confused with the others). But he is defeated and gets shot out into space. He appears in the end with the head of Grodus and the five remaining X-Naut soldiers. File:Mario Pinball.png This Mario related article is a stub.
