Judas Iscariot
rdfs:comment
Judas Iscariot is the betrayer of Jesus and the subsequent creator of the Democratic Party. Judas was also captain of his high school hockey team, which makes him un-American; therefore, Judas hates God. Judas also kissed Jesus, in a futile attempt to turn the Lord and Savior into a gay. Jesus doesn't get down like that, so Judas now rots in the 7th Circle of Hell for all eternity, along with Adolf Hitler. Judas Iscariot, was a disciple of Jesus Christ, having been entrusted to carry the money that they received from supporters. In the mysterious will of God, Jesus had chosen him to be the one to betray Him. Having denied his intentions when Jesus revealed one of his disciples would betray him, Judas left the supper table to report to the authorities that wanted to arrest his Master. Having betrayed Jesus in exchange for thirty pieces of silver, he later realize he had sinned. After returning the award money, he committed suicide in a place later called Alceldama or the Field of Blood. Judas appears with Jesus in "Brown Magic" when Rallo claims he feels like Jesus after being betrayed by Judas. Judas takes credit for wine Jesus brought to a party to score with Tammy, leaving Jesus to note that is his second betrayal. Judas is voiced by Will Forte. Judas Iscariot (Hebrew: יהודה איש־קריות‎, Yehuda, Yəhûḏāh ʾΚ-qrayyôṯ) was a first century human. Judas Iscariot was, according to the New Testament, one of the twelve original disciples of Jesus, and the one who is said to have betrayed him. The name Judas (Ioudas) is the Greek form of Judah, a proper name frequently found in both the Old and the New Testament. To distinguish him from Judas, the son of James (Luke 6:16), this Judas is usually associated with the surname Iscariot, which is likely Hebrew meaning "a man of Kerioth," a city of Judah. Judas attempts to warn Jesus about His fame's consequences ("Heaven on Their Minds"). Later, he criticizes Jesus for letting female disciple Mary Magadalene stroke Him and kiss His hair because it "is hardly in [His] line" and gets rebuked for judging her character when he is a sinner himself. He then criticizes Mary for anointing Jesus with a brand-new and expensive ointment when it could have been saved for the poor for at least 300 coins, but gets warned by Jesus that he'll lose his path when Jesus is gone ("Everything's Alright"). Name: Judas Iscariot Run Time: 12:15 Year: 1977 * Voyage Judas Iscariot was, according to the New Testament, one of the twelve original disciples of Jesus, and the one who is said to have betrayed him. Judas is mentioned in the synoptic Gospels, the Gospel of John and at the beginning of Acts of the Apostles. According to the account given in the Gospels, he carried the disciples' money box and betrayed Jesus for a bribe of "thirty pieces of silver" by identifying him with a kiss to arresting soldiers of the High Priest Caiphas, who then turned Jesus over to Pontius Pilate's soldiers. There are two different NT references to the end of Judas' life: * The Gospel of Matthew (27:3-10) says that, after Jesus' arrest by the Roman authorities (but before his execution), the guilt-ridden Judas returned the bribe to the priests and committed suicide by hanging himself. The priests could not return the money to the treasury so they used it to buy a plot of ground in order to bury strangers. * The Acts of the Apostles (1:18) says that Judas used the bribe (or Judas' returned bribe was used) to buy a field, into which he fell headlong, burst open in the middle and all his bowels gushed out. This field is called Akeldama or Field Of Blood. Acts 1 goes on to describe how his place among the apostles was subsequently filled by Matthias. There have been several attempts through history to rectify the apparent discrepancy between the two accounts, and some depictions in art portray Judas hanging himself, but with his stomach exploding as he does so. He finds a kindred spirit in Pontius Pilate to be rid of Jesus in "Believe It or Not, Joe's Walking on Air". Stewie admits he has interfered with the past many times in "Life of Brian". A cutaway shows him planting the idea to rebel in Judas' head during the Last Supper by noting that he only had the salad while Jesus had five margaritas. Judas Iscariot (nee Christ) was the nth Apostle and drummer of the hugely successful Death metal group "Coldplay" Judas Iscariot is the betrayer of Jesus and the subsequent creator of the Democratic Party. Andrew Jackson also founded the Democratic Party; it is likely that the explanation for this apparent historical discrepancy is that Jackson was a clone of Judas. Judas was also the Dictator of France from around 655 B.C. to 1948, and is almost universally recognized as the founder of French morals, politics, surrenderiness, and the general shittiness associated with France. Originally one of the 12 apostles Judas later became infamous as the man who had betrayed Jesus Christ to the local authorities, resulting in the death of Christ by crucifixion. Following the death of Christ the name Judas became synonymous with betrayal. (Historical Accounts) In Borath's artificial simulation, Benjamin Sisko was worried that his name would become the Bajoran equivalent of Benedict Arnold or Judas Iscariot for promising them Bajor would not be handed to the Dominion, unaware that the Federation Council had agreed just to that. (DS9 novelization: The Search) Judas attempts to warn Jesus about His fame's consequences ("Heaven on Their Minds"). Judas later and reluctantly betrays Jesus to the villains Annas and Caiaphas just to avoid a bloodbath. Of course, he doesn't want any blood money to do it, but gives in when Caiaphas tells him it is just a fee. So, he does it ("Damned for All Time/Blood Money"). During the Last Supper, Judas indirectly admits it is him who'll betray Jesus, but he threatens to stay here and ruin His ambition ("The Last Supper"). Judas later betrays Jesus with a kiss. After he sees how badly Jesus is hurt, he tells the priests of his regrets in doing what he did, but the priests try to console him. He throws out his own money. Feeling a major deal of remorse, Judas hangs himself on a tree ("Judas' Death"). However, Judas' part continues, as his spirit appears to Jesus just before His crucifixion and questions his actions and choices ("Superstar"). His questions are still unanswered. Judas in one way was a hero, but just not the way he planned. In fact, it was for the saving of everyone.
