Outrage OutRage
rdfs:comment
__NOWYSIWYG__ Outrage (げきりん Imperial Rage) Battle Data Affected by Contest Data Contests (RSE) Super Contests (DPPt) Contest Spectaculars (ORAS) Outrage is a Dragon-type move introduced in Generation II. It was the signature move of the Dratini evolutionary line in Generation II. The OutRage was created in 2073 in retaliation against the restart of the Gear Project by Frederick, in an era when the Gears were being mass-produced as a bioweapon of war. They would not be completed until after Justice's annihilation on Japan in 2074. The OutRage is based on technology derived from the Saint Oratorio Project, which researched magical energy in order to create the ultimate spell. The device by itself is a Magic Amplification Device meant to channel and magnify Magic Energy and is considered an Anti-Gear Weapon. It was broken up by the United Nations into eight Sacred Treasures (神器 / Jinki) because the sheer volume of magical energy produced by its completed form was too cumbersome to be controlled. Confuses the user every attack. Outrage or アウトレイジ is a 2010 Japanese Yakuza-film by Takeshi Kitano. It is the story about Otomo (Takeshi) and his gang and how they are screwed over by his boss, heading the Ikemoto-gumi, and his boss' boss, the Kaicho (chief of the Kanto region). A very appealing move, but after using this move, the user is more easily startled. Allows performance of the same move twice in a row. Jams the others, and misses one turn of appeals.

Outrage is one of the primary thirteen Arcanoi from Wraith: The Oblivion. Outrage affects the Skinlands by manifesting a wraith’s will in the form of a powerful force. Outrage is a fairly controversial art, even for an Arcanoi that blatantly violates the Dictum Mortuum. While it has its place in the Shadowlands, it really shines in the Skinlands where Spooks can essentially create all of the classic effects of the poltergeist. Because Spooks also tend to be temperamental or anti-social, many wraiths find dealing with them much more difficult than users of other Shroud-crossing Arcanoi; most jobs a Spook can do could conceivably be done by Puppeteers or Proctors just as easily. However, there are some cases where a Spook’s haphazard touch can be required. Spook powers are frequently used to clear buildings of troublesome Quick. They also serve as the "muscle" of the Shadowlands, as their abilities can be immensely powerful with training. Many powerful Spooks serve in Stygia’s armies as long as they keep their antics in the Shadowlands down to a bare minimum. Some Spooks also work with Artificers to create relics. When a use of Outrage gets out of control, destruction is not far behind. Objects are incorrectly targeted, or perhaps the Spook themselves accidentally strips themselves of Pathos, Corpus, or Willpower. __NOWYSIWYG__ Outrage (げきりん Imperial Rage) Battle Data Affected by Contest Data Contests (RSE) Super Contests (DPPt) Contest Spectaculars (ORAS) Outrage is a Dragon-type move introduced in Generation II. Outrage is a race of creature that is shared between all of the civilizations and in the Zero Civilization. Outrage is a Tier 5 Rage power in the Anger tree. All begins with Otomo's boss ordering him to bring the Murase-gumi, an opposing gang whose boss is the Blood Brothers of Ikemoto, back in line. What seems an easy job spirals out of control and ends in violence, bloodshed and death. The movie contains examples of: * Black and Black Morality: It's Yakuza vs. Yakuza and some dirty cops thrown in; what do you expect? * Blood Brothers: Ikemoto and Murase had sworn brotherhood in prison. Too bad Ikemoto doesn't value it. * Bottomless Magazines: Averted when Otomo uses his M1911, he fires seven shots and the the slide locks back as it is empty. * Corrupt Cop: Detective Kataoka * Diplomatic Impunity: Otomo and his gang use an embassy to house an illegal casino. * Downer Ending: To a certain extent, since Otomo and his gang are completely wiped out. * Fingore: Twice, once with a carpet Knife and once with a Wakizashi. * For the Evulz: The motivation for the acts of the Kaicho are never explained; this is one possibility. * Gorn: Some scenes can border on this. * Gory Discretion Shot: Used and averted, especially in the dentist scene. * Gratuitous English: Used in several instances between the ambassador and some of the Yakuza. Justified because he is a foreigner and not all of the Yakuza speak the language. * Grievous Bottley Harm: A Yakuza henchman wants to attack another with a bottle, but is held back by his friends. * Honor Before Reason * Improbable aiming skills: Averted, everybody is shot from a close distance. And in the one where somebody is running away, the shooter misses from about 15-20 m away. * Ironic Echo: "Remember this is the Yakuza you are dealing with." (from memory, please correct if necessary) * It Got Worse: It all started as a small operation to bring a rival gang back in line. * The Plan: The Kaicho seems to be playing one. But so are Ikemoto and Kato, who takes the place of the Kaicho in the end. * Shout-Out: To The Godfather and how he kept the corrupt senator in line. * Playboy Bunny: One appears in the illegal casino. * Running Both Sides: Kaicho offers Ikemoto's former position to both Kato and Otomo pitting them against each other. * Yakuza The OutRage was created in 2073 in retaliation against the restart of the Gear Project by Frederick, in an era when the Gears were being mass-produced as a bioweapon of war. It is said that the OutRage, and its individual components have no initial or set form. In their inert state, they take on the metaphysical form of blank glowing orbs. Depending on the intentions of their users, they can shift their form and function to better meet the requirements of their users. It has also been hinted that the Sacred Treasures are sentient. Additionally, wielders of Sacred Treasures require tremendous physical and mental stamina in order to harness their immense power, or the magical energy could discharge prematurely or misfire when executing a spell, causing grievous harm to the wielder. Aside from their ability to amplify and channel magical potential within a wielder, they also serve specific purposes, such as the Zessen's ability to create extra-dimensional barriers and the Thunderseal's power to suspend the flow of time within a selective space or individual. The known parts of the OutRage are the following: * Fireseal- Used by Sol Badguy, also known as Fuuenken (封炎剣, "Sealing Flame Sword"), has the power to enhance Sol's natural fire-based magic. Combined with Senga to create Sol's Junkyard Dog MK III. * Thunderseal - Used by Ky Kiske, also known as Fuuraiken (封雷剣, "Sealing Thunder Sword"). It is used for lightning magic and was bestowed to Ky Kiske when he became the commander of the Holy Knights. It was sacrificed to save the Maiden of the Grove. After Dizzy's release, Thunderseal was restored and sealed under Illyria Castle. * Zessen (絶扇) Anji's "Suppressing Fans", used to channel and amplify wind magic. Its purpose was to create and maintain the Dimensional Barrier established around the Japanese Colony * Senga (閃牙) "Flash Fang". It is capable of channeling and amplifying light-based magic. Currently in possession of Sol Badguy. Combined with Fireseal to make Sol's current Junkyard Dog MK III. * Ekitoku (益篤) "Profiting Fervor", also known as Dominator. Currently in possession of Senato. * Kojouhaku (湖上白) "White on the Lake", also known as Baikal. Currently in possession of Senato. * Slayer's dagger - Unknown characteristics, but was able to cut through Millia's hair, which is infused with the forbidden beast Angra and is said to be able to cut through the most intricate of spells. Outrage (JP) is a damage-dealing Dragon-type move introduced in the second generation.
