Berrynose
rdfs:comment
Berrynose is a cream-colored tom with a thick, short stump for a tail. He has a wide head, broad shoulders, and a shredded ear-tip. Berrynose is a tom with a stumpy tail. He thinks he's better than everyone, like Lionblaze, but he isn't because he can't even PWN a squirrel.
n59:
I, Firestar, leader of ThunderClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these three apprentices. They have trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Berrypaw, Hazelpaw, Mousepaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend this Clan, even at the cost of your lives? Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior names. Berrypaw, from this moment you will be known as Berrynose. StarClan honors your bravery and your enthusiasm, and we welcome you as a full warrior of ThunderClan.

Hey! That was my thrush you just scared off. Couldn't you see I was stalking it? You know, Lionpaw, you got that move all wrong. You should never have let her knock you over. If that had been a real fight, she could have bitten your throat out. Did you see Firestar die?...What was it like? Aren't you excited? Don't you want to know who your mentor will be? I hope I get someone fun! Not a bossy cat like Berrynose, or one like Whitewing. She sticks so close to the rules I think she must recite the warrior code in her sleep!

No, I couldn't see that. I'm blind, in case you hadn't noticed. I suppose you found that out when you were fighting ShadowClan. I might expect a question like that from a kit, Berrynose, but not from a warrior, especially one that I mentored. That's enough. You're not supposed to have fun with your mentors. You're supposed to learn from them. Berrynose and Whitewing are both fine warriors. You'd be very lucky to have either of them as your mentor.

Don't talk to a warrior like that!

Hi, Leafpool!...Where have you been? We missed you. Is your friend from WindClan going to stay with us? "You're so clever, so beautiful... Our kits are going to be the best in the Clan!" I'm just like a warrior now!...Every warrior has wounds. It shows how brave they are. What you did was wrong, but it was brave too. Firestar will understand that. Are we really supposed to forgive and forget? If they hadn’t given away all our secrets, the Dark Forest might never have attacked! Every cat in StarClan will honor you. We would have had wonderful kits together. Just as strong and beautiful as you. Maybe he’s growing up at last. He used to be a real pain in the tail… There's nothing to be scared of... I'll look after you. Berrynose is a real pain in the tail, and yet he gets two apparently sensible she-cats padding after him. Weird. We need to think about replacing fallen warriors. If we don’t, we’ll be weaker than the other Clans. We’ve just heard that kits are due in WindClan. We need to heal from the wounds of the Great Battle and make ourselves strong [again], but how can we do that if we have fewer cats than the other Clans?
