Horton the Elephant
rdfs:comment
Horton the Elephant is the kind-hearted elephant character who first appeared in the 1940 book, Horton Hatches the Egg. He also appears in Horton Hears A Who! and Seussical the Musical. Horton the Elephant is an elephant character from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. Horton appeared in most episodes of the show playing a side, background or even a leading character. He was voiced by John Kennedy throughout the series. He is the father of Morton and the brother of Thidwick. Horton is also a character on the TV series The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. Kent Rogers voiced the character in "Horton Hatches the Egg". He is also a principal character in Seussical the Musical, which uses most of the two Horton books as its primary plotline. Horton is voiced by Jim Carrey in the computer-animated adaptation of Horton Hears A Who, where he is shown as being eccentric and imaginative, and sort of absent-minded. Horton the Elephant, or just Horton, is the main protagonist in two of Dr. Seuss' books, Horton Hatches the Egg & Horton Hears a Who, as well as in the feature length play Seussical the Musical. In the animated film based on the second book, he is voiced by Jim Carrey. Horton is a big elephant with a simple mind but a heart of gold. In both stories, he selflessly protects a thing that seems meaningless to other animals (an egg and a speck that countains a very small world) and is cruelly mocked. He ignores them, and gets rewarded in the end of his torments. Horton the Elephant was a recurring character on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. In each of his book appearances, Horton endures a good amount of ridicule for believing in something that no one else does. He also received criticism from characters in the show. In The Guest, Horton is the hotel manager.

Horton the Elephant is an elephant character from The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. Horton appeared in most episodes of the show playing a side, background or even a leading character. He was voiced by John Kennedy throughout the series. He is the father of Morton and the brother of Thidwick. Horton the Elephant was a recurring character on The Wubbulous World of Dr. Seuss. In each of his book appearances, Horton endures a good amount of ridicule for believing in something that no one else does. He also received criticism from characters in the show. In The Guest, Horton is the hotel manager. Horton appeared in a new Dr. Seuss book, Horton and the Kwuggerbug, which came out on September 9, 2014, the second Dr. Seuss book published after his death in 1991 (his first being Daisy-Head Mayzie in 1995). Horton is very naive and daydreaming (even a bit crazy in the film), but also very brave and compassionnate. He is very forgiving as well, since he never holds hard feelings for the other animals despite all the harm they did to him. Horton the Elephant is the kind-hearted elephant character who first appeared in the 1940 book, Horton Hatches the Egg. He also appears in Horton Hears A Who! and Seussical the Musical.
