IL038: Electric Soldier Porygon
rdfs:comment
Cyber Soldier Porygon (でんのうせんしポリゴン) (commonly named as Electric Solder Porygon) is the 38th episode of the Pokémon: Indigo League. Its only broadcast was in Japan on December 16, 1997, and has not aired anywhere else since. This episode was infamous for causing over six hundred children in Japan to be sent to hospitals due to many illnesses such as epileptic seizures, eye irritation, and vomiting. It is strongly believed that the flashing strobe effect was the major cause of the illnesses. As a result, this episode was permanently banned by the Japanese government and has not re-broadcast or released on VHS or DVD since.
