Neckies were going to make an appearance in Donkey Kong Racing, presumably as rideable creatures like Zingers were. They were seen in the background on when Kiddy was riding Ellie. Neckies also appear in DK: King of Swing and its sequel, DK: Jungle Climber as enemies that either swoop down at the Kongs or shoot coconuts at them.
