Luxembourg contained one of the last Maquis' strongholds in Europe, where some of Europe's refugees took shelter. During Operation Overstrike in September 3rd, 1951, the Maquis stronghold was ultimately besieged and destroyed by the Chimera. Following the success of Overstrike, Luxembourg was among one of the many liberated Western European countries. Lxembourg is a small independent duchy in Western Europe. It is bordered by Belgium, Germany, and France, and its history was heavily influenced by the latter two. The flag of Luxembourg is an equal horizontal tricolour of red, white, and blue. The blue on the bottom is slightly brighter than darker blue on the flag of The Netherlands. Luxembourg (ルクセンブルク Rukusenburuku) is a minor character in Hetalia: Axis Powers. His first real appearance was in the event Hetaween 2013, specifically an edit to the event published on Himaruya's blog the year after Hetaween 2013. Luxembourg (Luxembourgish: Lëtzebuerg, German: Luxemburg, French: Luxembourg) is the 37th character in the game, and was introduced in the November 2013 update along with Colombia and Romania. He has fairly challenging Unlock Requirements, but when used correctly, his Power Shot can be nearly unstoppable. Some defining features of Luxembourg are his rock-like purple skin, green irises, grass-like hair (with a sprout growing out of his head), square chin and unintelligent expression. If you have any questions about the character Luxembourg, please ask them here. __TOC__ Luxembourg was a country in Europe. A member of the European Union, Luxembourg is occasionally seen borderingGermany, who each have cultural visitation rights. Some claim it borders the mythical country of Belgium This is a collection of local flavor and sources of information about Luxembourg, with a focus on individual voices. Its government type is a Feudal Monarchy. Luxembourg was one of the countries that participated in the first Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. From their debut to 1993, Luxembourg competed frequently in the Contest, being absent from the contest once during this period. However, since being relegated from taking part in the 1994 Contest the country withdrew from the contest indefinitely after a run of bad placings in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Despite winning five times, none of their winners are from the nation at all: four of them were French while one was Greek. Its capital is Luxembourg. Luxembourg has its own National Quidditch team and is also the home of Quidditch team the Bigonville Bombers. According to Charlie Weasley, Scotland's Quidditch team were "slaughtered" by Luxembourg's team. Many Luxembourgian witches and wizards attend Beauxbatons Academy of Magic in France, presumably due to a lack of a wizarding school in their own country. __TOC__ Founded in 963, Luxembourg became a grand duchy in 1815 and an independent state under the Netherlands. It lost more than half of its territory to Belgium in 1839 but gained a larger measure of autonomy. Full independence was attained in 1867. Overrun by Germany in both world wars, it ended its neutrality in 1948 when it entered into the Benelux Customs Union and when it joined NATO the following year. In 1957, Luxembourg became one of the six founding countries of the European Economic Community (later the European Union), and in 1999 it joined the euro currency area. Luxembourg is a tiny little country in Central Europe with a population of just under half a Million. It is also a founder member of the European Union. Luxembourg is also the capital of Luxembourg, and an important political centre of the European Union. People there on average speak up to 5 five foreign languages, so don't fear if you get lost there (though that's quite impossible due to the size of it.) In the USA Luxemburg is primarily forgotten except when Rich people are looking for a Tax haven. On September 11 2015 (the Fourteenth Anniversary of 9/11) Meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of V4 countries, Luxembourg and Germany met with each other to discuss concrete measures within the external dimension of migration crisis.
