Mario Tornado
rdfs:comment
Luigi has a similar attack called the Luigi Cyclone as does Dr. Mario with his called Dr. Tornado. Mario Tornado (マリオトルネード Mario Torunēdo), also known as Star Spin (回転星型, Kaiten Hoshigata lit: Star-Shaped Rotation), is Mario's down aerial in Super Smash Flash and his down special move in Super Smash Flash 2. In both games, Mario spins around rapidly for a short time, he ends the attack by punching upward, knocking away trapped opponents. Mario Tornado is the name given to Mario's Down Special in the first two installments of the Super Smash Bros. series. Beginning in Brawl and later on 3DS/Wii U, his Down Special was replaced with the F.L.U.D.D, and Mario Tornado became his Down Air Attack instead.

n19:abstract
Mario Tornado (マリオトルネード Mario Torunēdo), also known as Star Spin (回転星型, Kaiten Hoshigata lit: Star-Shaped Rotation), is Mario's down aerial in Super Smash Flash and his down special move in Super Smash Flash 2. In both games, Mario spins around rapidly for a short time, he ends the attack by punching upward, knocking away trapped opponents. In Super Smash Flash, the move is slightly quicker than the Super Smash Bros. Melee version. In Super Smash Flash 2, the move possesses considerably more knockback than it's counterpart in SSF, and can now be used for recoveries as it allows Mario to hover in the air momentarily when the special move button is pushed repeatedly. It is also one of the best momentum canceling moves in the game. As a nod to the spinning attack from Super Mario Galaxy, the Baby Luma comes out of Mario's cap during the ending strike, but is merely a cosmetic addition. Luigi has a similar attack called the Luigi Cyclone as does Dr. Mario with his called Dr. Tornado.
