Russian spy Emil Blonsky was sent to America to infiltrate the New Mexican Air Force base where Dr. Bruce Banner did his research. However, Blonsky's attempts to sabotage nuclear missiles were unsuccessful. After snooping around in Banner's lab, he activated a machine that bombarded him with enormous amounts of gamma radiation, and transformed him into a green monster that was dubbed "an Abomination". Gaining strength physically twice that of the Hulk , and keeping his heightened intelligence, Blonsky began a life of destruction around the world. But, even with his new power, Blonsky only found himself filled with bitterness and resentment towards Banner. Seeing Banner as better off, but as a rampaging, destructive monster at the same time, Blonsky devoted most of his efforts to bringing Banner down. Blonsky continually attacked Banner, or endangered his love, Betty Ross, trying anything he could to destroy Banner. However, Blonsky's efforts were always in vain, as nothing he ever did was enough to crush Banner's spirit. Blonsky's obsessive nature consumed him, until he crossed paths with The Red Hulk, who savagely beat Blonsky to death in Russia. Emil Blonsky discovered gamma-ray equipment that Bruce Banner was going to use to kill himself. Instead Blonsky used the equipment to become the Abomination, one of Hulk's deadliest enemies.

Many abominations die as a result of their own mutation. Abominations are related to Ogres and Brutes, in that . However, where the Ogre and Brute retain their somewhat human bodies, even if twisted and altered, the Abomination is a broad category of mutants who grow excess limbs, exposed internal organs and a general derangement of physiognomy that goes far beyond the alterations of the Goblin, Ogre and Brute. From Wikipedia: The Abomination is a fictional character that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The character first appears in Tales to Astonish #90 (vol. 1, April 1967), and was created by writer Stan Lee and artist Gil Kane. Born in Zagreb, Yugoslavia, Emil Blonsky is a KGB agent and spy who becomes the Abomination after deliberately exposing himself to a greater quantity of the same gamma radiation that transformed Bruce Banner into the Hulk. Blonsky is transformed into a massive green-skinned monster with physical strength exceeding that of the Hulk; in his first appearance, he is more than twice as powerful as the Hulk. Although he retains his mental faculties, Blonsky soon discovers his inability to return to human form. The Abomination is a large Chimera that appears only in Resistance: Burning Skies. The creature is encountered at the end of the Military Ocean Terminal level. Abominations are beings of a race of evil creatures. Like the Stone Emperor, abominations are anathema to the universe in general, and the presence of one will twist and corrupt everything around it in a creeping ripple of doom and ruin. Abominations are actually what demons are often mistaken for, and because of that most demons have an especially high disdain for them. During phase 1 of the quest fight, the Abomination has 198,000 lifepoints, although it cannot be attacked. Instead, the player must chip away at the pillars and destroy them to collapse a bunch of bane ore in the ceiling. After the collapse, phase 2 of the fight begins, but due to bane ore collapsing on the Abomination, its health will be reduced to 66,000. Despite using melee, the Abomination has a unique mechanic where if attacked from a distance, it will charge at the player, stunning them and then using two melee attacks on them, similar to fighting a Gladius. Every so often, the Abomination will release a fireball with its melee attack that follows the player, dealing 495 damage upon impact and sets the area the player was in alight, dealing 330 damage repeatedly. The Abomination has very high defence, even so that tier 90 equipment will miss often against it; Dragonbane ammo does not seem to deal extra damage and accuracy towards it. Like in the quest fight, falling bane rocks and fire from the ground will hurt the Abomination for 495 damage repeatedly, so it should be lured onto them whenever possible to kill it faster. It also retains the stun attack Tarshak used during the first fight with him; not avoiding it will deal 1237 classless damage and stun the player. Although there are some safespots to use, the Abomination is able to move around the safespot and start attacking the player. In addition, bane rocks may fall on the safespot, so it is advised to simply use Protect from Melee or Deflect Melee and tank its attacks, luring it to nearby fires and falling bane rocks when needed. After an update on 15 July 2015, Abomination will now drop 2 drops of his drop table, instead of 1. The Abomination is a large, undead monstrosity summoned by Neclord to thwart Riou, Viktor and Kahn's advance on him during his occupation of North Window Castle. Neclord's original ploy of tempting Viktor with the idea of resurrecting his lost love, Daisy, did not work. Viktor saw right through the ruse, as anyone brought back from the dead would begin to attack those among the living. Neclord's back-up plan involved sending this large monster servant of his to kill them and buy him time. With the party kept busy by the Abomination, Neclord freely escapes the scene and isn't encountered again for quite some time, until he shows up again in the Tinto region. Abomination appears as a gargantuan, horrifying black creature possessing five heads, and four large hand-like appendages stemming from long arms that extend out of the body. Abomination moves about as if it were a large arachnid, and has shown surprising physical ability in being able to jump extremely high, despite its size and weight. It can also briefly stand on the back two of its hands, while using its front hands to slash at its target. It is also capable of using a wave of phantoms to attack the party. The Abomination can produce some sort of blue breath-weapon, either dark fire, or a kind of ethereal energy, and release it in a large cloud. Emil Blonsky was a special-ops commando with the British Royal Marines on loan to General Thaddeus Ross in his efforts to capture Bruce Banner better known as Hulk. Blonsky was injected with a small dose of the mothballed original Super Soldier Serum and later was injected with Bruce Banner's blood causing him to transform into the Hulk-sized Abomination. The Abomination proceeded to go on a rampage in Harlem until he was defeated by Hulk and captured by the United States Armed Forces. Abominations are undead, ogre-like creatures, mounds of corpses cobbled together. The stomach-churning reek is choking, and a green-brown haze surrounds them. Their guts spill from a jagged gap in their stomach, and flies buzz about it, feasting. Three disproportionate, arm-like limbs emerge from their bloated body, two bearing bloody cleavers, and the other a thick chain with a hook on the end. Abominations are crazed, deformed zombie-like enemies that are unique to Madness: Project Nexus. Like the zombies they can take many shots without dying. They debut in Episode 1.5, level [1.5-C]. They have been mutated and several pieces of flesh have been cut from their bodies, making their muscles visible. Their arms have been strapped to their torsos with belts. These enemies attack in a similar way to zombies. Abominations will seize targets in the same fashion but instead of draining their TAC-Bars, they will rapidly headbutt them, dealing direct damage to their health. Similar to zombie attacks, the player must mash the movement keys in order to break free. When abominations are reduced to half health, they will topple over and then stand back up with the straps around their arms broken, unless they have been decapitated. During their first stage, abominations will have their arms strapped down and will attack the player using their heads and bodies. Due to its limited attack options, an abomination with its arms still strapped may drop-kick their enemies to disarm and knock them down. Because of this, it is recommended to use ranged weapons during their first stage. Since abominations will not disarm the player after their arms have been freed, landing melee attacks on them in their second stage is easier. Except in the final level of Episode 1.5, abominations will attack all other characters not of their kind, including zombies, agents, riot guards, sleepwalker patients, and the player. Like sleepwalker patients, if an abomination is killed by a zombie, it will not become a zombie itself. If a sleepwalker is killed by an abomination, it won't revive or explode, just as if it was killed by a zombie. In the penultimate room of level [1.5-C], a giant abomination, Mag Agent: Gestalt, is present. Like normal abominations, Gestalt attacks other non-abomination characters like agents and the player.
