Padric Bac
rdfs:comment
Padric Bac was the Senator of Alderaan before the outbreak of the Mandalorian Wars. As a member of the Bac family, he was the descendant of other notable politicians including Supreme Chancellor Jonathan Bac and Senator Alcor Bac. As the representative to the Galactic Senate for Alderaan, he nearly ushered in a new era of corruption on the planet, as he was a twisted partisan politician who only thought about his own gains. His son, Padric Bac II, had political ambitions and a grand new vision for Alderaan of his own and challenged him for re-election. Much to Padric's surprise and dismay, he was beaten by his son who was able to fix the damage that Padric had been accused of causing.

n5:abstract
Six months after the birth of his grandson, Ussej Padric Bac, his son and his wife Talia Antilles, daughter of Alderaanian King Leto Antilles, traveled to Coruscant to attend a seminar on homeland security and the aftermath of the Mandalorian Wars. The day before they planned on returning to Alderaan, they were killed by an assassin's bullet. The preliminary investigations into the assassination pointed to a manufacturing company in the Unknown Regions called Shadows of the Phoenix, though the investigation found a dead end and the case was never solved, despite significant backing to solve it by King Leto and dozens of members of the Alderaanian Legislature. Padric, however, put no pressure on the authorities to solve the case. He chose not to attend his son's funeral, though he did try to gain custody of Ussej as a means of trying to secure some sort of power in politics once again, as he hoped that Ussej would become his political apprentice. Instead, custody of Ussej was granted to King Leto, and after that Padric had no further contact with his grandson and his name faded into obscurity.
