Eldstar is a character that appears as one of the seven Star Spirits in Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64. The character is an elderly star who sports a rather large, white mustache. He seems to be somewhat a leader to the other star spirits. Eldstar was being held captive by the Koopa Bros., in the Koopa Bros. Fortress and turns out to be the first Star Spirit that Mario rescues. He grants Mario his very first Star powers, Refresh and Focus Eldstar is the first Star Spirit in Paper Mario. Eldstar is a character that appears as one of the seven Star Spirits in Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64. The character is an elderly star who sports a rather large, white mustache. He seems to be somewhat a leader to the other star spirits. After Mario's loss against Bowser, when he is asleep in the forest, Eldstar visits him and tells him to come to Shooting Star Summit before disappearing. Upon reaching Shooting Star Summit, Eldstar and the other Star Spirits tell Mario of how Bowser has captured them and that in order to save Princess Peach and stop Bowser, he must rescue the Star Spirits from where they are being held captive. Eldstar was being held captive by the Koopa Bros., in the Koopa Bros. Fortress and turns out to be the first Star Spirit that Mario rescues. He grants Mario his very first Star powers, Refresh and Focus As well as being in Paper Mario. Eldstar also made a brief appearance in Mario Party 5 and as a sticker in Super Smash Bros.
