Sir Colin Rex Davis, CH, CBE (25 September 1927 – 14 April 2013) was an English conductor best known for his association with the London Symphony Orchestra, having first conducted it in 1959. His repertoire was broad, but among the composers with whom he was particularly associated were Mozart, Berlioz, Elgar, Sibelius, Stravinsky and Tippett. He studied as a clarinettist, but was intent on becoming a conductor. After struggles as a freelance conductor from 1949 to 1957, he gained a series of appointments with orchestras including the BBC Scottish Orchestra, the BBC Symphony Orchestra and the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. He also held the musical directorships of Sadler's Wells Opera and the Royal Opera House, where he was principal conductor for over fifteen years. His guest conducto Captain Colin Campbell Davis was a Starfleet officer during the Federation-Klingon War of 2405-2410. After joining Starfleet in 2388, he graduated from the academy in 2392, and went on to serve on numerous ships before taking his first command in 2397, eventually becoming one of the most influential officers in the 25th century. 25/09/1927 - Weybridge, Surrey (Reino Unido) * Fallecido 14/04/2013 Colin Davis was a computer programmer of genius who, as his chf d'oeuvre, came up with the Omen Virus. It was meant to be a proof of theory, but was such an exiquisite piece of coding, he couldn't bring himself to destroy it, the way he knew he should. It passes through him literally when he swallows the chip and is then tricked by Verbanski into taking a laxative, to speed things along. Colin seems to have survived his misadventures, and is not mentioned as being injured or in custody when the affair eventually blows over. General Colin Davis, ES (COG tags CSID 8D9765-99GD4-GJ) was a hardened Gear and COG Army Commissioned Officer who fought in the last eight years of the Pendulum Wars, and all throughout the Locust War and Lambent Pandemic. During most of the Locust War he served under Donald Berkeley, whom had also led his unit during the Pendulum Wars.
