Lordgenome's initial plan was to eradicate all human life who came to the surface, using entities he created called Beastman to carry out his bidding. Such was carried out in order to save humanity from the Spiral Nemesis, a cataclysmic event that would trigger once Spiral Energy was overused. After defeating the Four Supreme Generals of Lordgenome's army, Team Dai-Gurren reached Teppelin, where they confronted Lordgenome. Using the titular mech, Gurren Lagann, Simon and Rossiu fought Lordgenome in his Lazengann. After deeming his mech unworthy of the task, Lordgenome exited his mech and quickly overwhelmed Simon in Lagann. Simon, however, eventually gained the upperhand by using a core drill to blast a hole through his chest. Before falling to his alleged death, Lordgenome warned Simon that once the surface overflowed with one-million apes, the moon would become Hell's messenger and completely destroy the world of the Spiral. After the seven-year timeskip, the millionth baby was born, which had nearly immediate affect. During the fight with the Anti-Spirals, Rossiu managed to ressurect Lordgenome as a Biocomputer in order to gain information. And during the final fight with the Anti-Spiral beings, Lordgenome would undergo a quantum breakdown via the Anti-Spiral's attack in order to become one with the energy, creating a giant core drill and killing himself off in the process. This sacrifice would increase Team Dai-Gurren's power, allowing them to overwhelm the Anti-Spiral and eventually succeed in saving Spiral lifeforms all over the galaxy."@en . . . . . . . . . . . .
