Kago
rdfs:comment
Image:Kago.gif Kagoites are small insectoid organisms indigenous to the planet Zebes. They coexist with one another peacefully inside of relatively large hives, which are caged inside of a web of hardened biomatter. Like bees, they won't attack unless provoked. Even so they are quite pacifistic, as the webbing protects their hives from being crushed (something bees have never adapted for), and will only be forced to send out individual guards should their home be directly attacked. Given the Kagoite's overall physiology, it is not a huge leap to consider that they may be closely related to the Zeela, another Zebesian inhabitant. Kago are small insectoid creatures that coexist with each other within large hives, which are caged inside a web of hardened biomatter. They don't actively cause any damage if their hives are left alone, but if fired on, individuals are expelled to defend their homes. n12:abstract
Kago are small insectoid creatures that coexist with each other within large hives, which are caged inside a web of hardened biomatter. They don't actively cause any damage if their hives are left alone, but if fired on, individuals are expelled to defend their homes. Despite the destruction of their home planet, they were found aboard the Biologic Space Laboratory Research Station, where they were unfortunately consumed and subsequently mimicked by the X Parasites. With the destruction of this location as well, they are currently considered extinct. Kago ( 加護) Meaning Divine Protection, is a defensive technique derived from a combination of the first two forms of haki. When properly applied, it grants impressive immunity to users. Kago, when used properly, has been described as akin to the user wearing armour, without the usual weight or impairment to mobility this would normally cause. By using Kenbushoku haki, the hostile intent behind attacks can be used to identify potential threats, and sense their approach. By combining this with Busoshoku haki, channeled precisely, users can momentarily focus their haki against any incoming assault in the precise area and instant it hits. By localising the defense in this way, the user's haki is much more concentrated, and thus provides greater protection than it otherwise would have. Combined with basic evasive tactics to minimize hits, or even used on its own, this allows the user to access a very efficient and potent defense, and in the case of stronger users can even make them appear invincible.
