Nymphs
rdfs:comment
The rather benign name of nymph belies the reality of their nature. Both mischevious and vengeful, these creatures of the untouched world seem to cause mortals nothing but suffering. Nymphs are small, spritelike creatures that are employed for all various sorts of labor throughout the Great Underground Empire. Nymph labor is so valuable that nymph referral services have been created to assist short-handed employers. Many different types of nymphs exist: * guard nymphs employed at Bozbarland, * warning nymphs employed by certain Enchanters' Guilds, * serving nymphs, * and even dancing nymphs, such as those employed at Potion Palace. Nymphs is the fourth VVIP character set featured in CrossFire. Nymphs are absolute beings that existed at the beginning of time, and are the creators of the Kandrakar fortress. Nymphs are a race of female nature spirits that tend to take on a form related to their environment (Example: While in forests: trees, in flower fields: flowers, in bodies of water: water). They can take on a human form with brown, orange, blue, green or aqua skin color. In the animated series a nymph named Syrinx has a family of male tree-like entities, if these creatures are male nymphs or not is never explained; these "males" can only take on a partially humanoid form (resembling trees or bushes with faces). The nymphs reside on Phil's Island and Philoctetes enjoys spending his time peeping on the females.
