"The Ice Warriors fled to Deimos after radiation killed the soil of their home planet, Mars, putting themselves in suspended animation inside some catacombs for \u2014 according to the Eighth Doctor \u2014 \"many millions of years\". (AUDIO: Deimos) In the 21st century, the Deindum tried to make Deimos and Phobos leave Mars' orbit. Merlin sent Excalibur to Winifred Bambera and Ancelyn in order for them to use the sword to prevent the Deindum's plan from suceeding. (PROSE: Excalibur of Mars) A moonbase was set up on Deimos intending to terraform Mars and make it habitable for humans. However, the Great Recession, along with insufficient funding for artificial suns to heat the planet, meant the terraforming project was abandoned. In the 23rd century, a group of Ice Warriors (AUDIO: Deimos) that was prematurely awakened from their catacombs by the Monk (AUDIO: The Resurrection of Mars) attacked Deimos Moonbase, intending to use the still-functioning atmospheric re-ioniser to make Mars habitable to Martians, but killing the thousands of human colonists in doing so. The base was evacuated, (AUDIO: Deimos) but an artificial gravity eddy was used to bring the passenger rocket back down to Deimos. After the Doctor was forced to repair the re-ioniser when the Ice Warriors threatened the craft, the Ice Warriors destroyed it anyway by testing the re-ioniser, killing the 600 passengers and crew. The Doctor, unable to reverse the effects of the device once it had started altering Mars' atmosphere, brought the re-ioniser \"to a very sudden halt with a very loud bang\" by reducing a critical feedback in the ionisation beam. At the last minute, the Doctor also made the process alter Mars into an Earth-like atmosphere rather than that of the Mars of long before. The feedback in the beam lit up the atmosphere of the base, setting the entire moon on fire and turning it into an artificial sun that heated Mars. The Doctor noted that this event was part of the Web of Time. (AUDIO: The Resurrection of Mars) File:MoonStub.png"@en . . . . . . "Sea Hacker"@en . . . "3"^^ . . "Deimos was a moon of Mars. He served under his father, at least as far back as Ma'chello's rebellion on the planet Dendred, where he was known to have operated a Ha'tak mothership. Agents of Ma'chello, having swapped bodies with some of Deimos' Jaffa, managed to gain access to Deimos' Ha'tak where they proceeded to sabotage the transportation rings on board; no longer would they produce a harmless stream of energy which passed between sets of rings, but they would now disintegrate any matter in their path. Ma'chello's agents simply left their trap in place until a pre-arranged time when they activated their trap, destroying Deimos' Ha'tak, along with that of his brother which they had also sabotaged, in a fiery explosion. They thought that this had killed both of Ares' 'sons' as well as losing him two of his precious Ha'tak's. (RPG: \"Friends and Foes: Stargate Season Two\")"@en . "0"^^ . . . "0.558"^^ . . Minister Lung of the Fern Neck Church of Christ led a massive Christian movement to Deimos later called the Fern Neck Christian Movement. "Deimos is an oddity within the Madness series, due to his fondness for working with Sanford. His favorite weapons are a pair of assault rifles, which he uses with great effectiveness in Madness Combat 9. Deimos also seems to have a lighthearted side; he once tried to scare Sanford by jumping up on him wearing a dead agent's mask. This is ironic, considering how he is named after the Greek deity of terror. Deimos is also a heavy smoker, a trait that usually coincides with death in the Madness series."@en . . He has a bandaged head, wears a headset and visor and has been seen wearing a vest with a white tank-top underneath. His first chronological appearance in the series is in Madness Combat 5: Depredation, and he appeared again in Madness Combat 5.5 as one of the protagonists, and makes his last appearance alive so far in Madness Combat 9: Aggregation. Overall, Deimos has killed 164 people in the series, which amounts to around 13% of the series' total kills. His partner is Sanford. Compared to the likes of Hank and Sanford, Deimos seems to take his job less seriously, as illustrated when he flashes an agent a \"Rock On\" sign while killing him in Madness Combat 5.5, when he jokingly tries to scare Sanford by donning an A.T.P. mask and waving around a carbon knife in Madness Combat 9, and when he apparently made and won a bet with Sanford in Incident: 100A. Deimos carries Hank's body for most of Aggregation, and is also the one who resurrects him. It is hinted that he, Hank and Sanford are part of some anti-A.A.H.W. or anti-Auditor rebel organization, for he is seen talking through his headset to an as-yet-unidentified person. The fact that they belong to their own organization would explain why they didn't properly assist Hank in fighting Tricky in Madness Depredation, as they might have been going for another objective. As we see in Madness Combat 5.5 they have other business to deal with than helping Hank, though no proper goal seems to appear in either this episode or its sequel, Madness Combat 6.5."@en .
