Zap is a music video and the only brickfilm by David Betteridge. It is a video for a song of the same name by the band Ether Real and was commissioned by the band's record label Truelove Records. It is the first known brickfilm that wasn't commissioned by The LEGO Company to receive a wide public release as it was shown by MTV and other music channels upon release. Betteridge mentions making the film in 1989, but it appears to have actually been made in 1991 due to a background appearance of a Koosh-Kin toy first released in 1991 and due to the song Zap being from 1991.

The Zap Power is the most difficult power to obtain in Dizzywood, because it means that you have to have three other powers first, Ghost Ray, Levitation and Invisibility (see the articles about how to obtain those powers) and finding two Ghost opal idols. Instead of clicking on the pile of moveable gravel like you do in The Explorer's Camp, you wave your mouse cursor back and forth over the gravel to make it move. Soon you will reveal the second Ghost opal idol. Click on the Jaguar Statue to put the Ghost opal idols back in the eye sockets.
Zap est un jeune garçon de 6 ans. Il est le frère jumeau de Zip.
Zap the cat was a feline member of the Vorkosigan household. The stray cat was discovered when Corporal Kosti heard her making a terrible noise when she caught in a tanglefield. Taking pity on the poor beast, Kosti started taking care of her, and appropriately named her Zap. Zap remained partially-feral, accepting food and shelter from humans, but also attacking them despite their generosity. She had the unusual habit of purring and growling at the same time when fed by humans. However, some in the household were able to handle her and her kittens, including Cordelia and Ma Kosti.
Sgt. Zap was chosen among the first to join the G.I. JOE team in its early days. His specialty was in armor-piercing and anti-tank weapon systems. As the team expanded, he moved more towards demolitions. It became his job to teach the new recruits their practical factors to qualify for ranks. It's amazing to watch him work with high-explosives devices and remain composed. His professional attitude gained him a great reputation as an instructor. When the call went out to reorganize the original G.I. JOE team members, he jumped at the chance. Being somewhat old-fashioned, he returned using his favorite hand-held bazooka, not as high-tech as some of the weapons he's used but definitely reliable.
zap is one of the spells from the Sorcery! epic. It is one of the official six most useful spells and, like the other spells in that category, costs the player 4 stamina points per use. It creates a lightning bolt that shoots from the tip of the caster's finger. If used against a creature, it will often cause an instant kill. It is quite similar in effects to hot and costs the same amount of stamina.
The Tinkertown authorities enter the fray, with unhelpful results.

The Zap Power is the most difficult power to obtain in Dizzywood, because it means that you have to have three other powers first, Ghost Ray, Levitation and Invisibility (see the articles about how to obtain those powers) and finding two Ghost opal idols. You can retrieve the first Ghost opal idol at Tanglevine Jungle. Go to the Genie Ghost Onca on the far right side of Tanglevine Jungle. It is hidden in one of the stone pillars on the left side of a tree. You'll need to use the Ghost Ray power to get it. The second Ghost opal idol is in the Jaguar Temple (the entrance is in The Explorer's Camp and you have to use invisibility to go in). Once inside use levitation to go from plateau to plateau until you find the one with a pile of moveable gravel on it (it's at the bottom-right). You can dig it up again for coins later on. Instead of clicking on the pile of moveable gravel like you do in The Explorer's Camp, you wave your mouse cursor back and forth over the gravel to make it move. Soon you will reveal the second Ghost opal idol. Now you have to go to the Jaguar Statue which is located on the third plateau. The easiest way to get there is walking against a Black Crystal (this will transport you immediately to the Jaguar Statue). Click on the Jaguar Statue to put the Ghost opal idols back in the eye sockets. NOTE: Players used to be able to receive Zap by walking between the purple pillars on the little island in Tanglevine Jungle, but they were destroyed. Early players who obtained it this way didn't have to go and obtain it a second time.

Zap also was very fertile. Kareen Koudelka once described Enrique Borgos as "having ideas as much as Zap has kittens." At least one kitten was offered by Miles to his cousin Ivan as a way to soothe his bachelorhood.

FROM GENERAL HAWK'S FILES: "Here's a guy that not only likes blowing things up, we pay him to do it. Sgt. Zap maintains his cool at all times. Setting up explosive devices is nerve-racking, but he handles it and keeps coming back for more. A true professional, and well-liked for his abilities and his courage. My advice is to keep your helmet on when he's around, something will be exploding nearby."
