"Wanda Tania Maximoff (born 8 October, 1984) was a half-blood witch of Romanian and Italian descent; daughter of Antoine and Carmela Maximoff (n\u00E9e Scicolone), twin sister of Marya Maximoff and half-sister of Mateo, Pietro and Marco Maximoff. She attended the New Alexandria School of Enlightenment from 1996 to 2003 was both a Beater and Seeker for the Ra's All-Stars School Quidditch team. While at school, Wanda and Marya took an instant liking to Quidditch and were such effective Beaters that they were accepted into the Ra's All-Stars, one of the school's Quidditch teams, in their second year. Wanda and her twin's tight bond made them incredibly effective and helped keep their team at the top of the school's Quidditch league. When Marya transferred to Castelobruxo for a student exchange program in their sixth year, it affected Wanda's Quidditch performance, unable to work effectively with her replacement Beater. She narrowly managed to avoid being dropped by the Ra's All-Stars by trying out for the spot of Seeker and proving to be extremely proficient in the position. During her time as the team's Seeker, Wanda led the Ra's All-Stars to victory in the New Alexandria Quidditch cup and captained the New Alexandria Quidditch team, which won the European Junior Quidditch Championship. After graduating from New Alexandria in 2003, Wanda received offers from a myriad of European Quidditch teams, eventually joining the Bucharest Basilisks. Wanda became the Seeker for the Romanian National Quidditch team and competed in the 2006 Quidditch World cup; losing in the semi-finals against France thanks to a controversial call, and the 2010 Quidditch World Cup, where the Romanian team famously beat the Chinese team after a three-day long match. In 2014, Wanda retired from Quidditch after she became pregnant and gave birth to a baby boy: Santino Rodolfo Maximoff."@en . "Campania, South Italy"@en .
