Herald Herald Herald Herald Herald
rdfs:comment
The Herald is a minor character in the film Cinderella. He is mostly bald and wears a white wig. "Herald", known as "Declarer" in the Japanese and Korean version, is a series of LIGHT Fairy monsters. Three of the "Heralds" are Level 2 Effect Monsters with 300 ATK and 500 DEF, each named after a different secondary color. The effect of each "Herald" focuses on negating a particular card effect (Monster, Spell, or Trap). In order to activate the effects of a colored "Herald", the monsters must be sent to the Graveyard from the hand, along with another Fairy monster. "Herald of Perfection" a Level 6 Ritual Monster, is the combination of all the effects of "Heralds" with a highly improved effect that can be activated by using a single Fairy for its cost. Newer additions to the series include "Herald of Ultimateness", "Herald of the Arc Light" and "Herald of Pure Light". Herald is one of the many honorary titans from the show Teen Titans and comics. His power is to create portals with his horn, as well as skilled hand to hand combat. Herald is an NPC in Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra. Herald is the name given to servants of Unicron or Shokaract. Those are usually Cybertronians who have pledged their loyalty to him or else been corrupted by his dark influence. Herald Maximo is the title held by the highest ranking Herald of Shokaract from the future in which he ruled over Cybertron. The office was held by Antagony and sought after by Cataclysm during their rivalry and after her ill-fated trip to prehistoric Earth. Reaching the Omega Point The Herald, affectionally known as Harold and officially designated the DH Herald, served as messenger and announcer for Eris. He was responsible for relaying important information about Dragonhollow to her residents. The Herald was something of a controversial figure. While many newcomers found his words of wisdom insightful, others wished he'd just shut the hell up. Heralds are the main field commanders of the Vaul. Once Heralds of the Xel'Naga, they crossed galaxies in search of races worthy of being heirs to the cycle of rebirth. Now they have been rebuilt with the most advanced Protoss, Terran, and Xel'Naga technology ever created into battlefield commanders controlling legions of war machines. While Mavericks are great at covert operations and independent thought, even they must bow down to a Herald's power. Special abilities: Herald is the title given to a chosen person by one of the Great Three Mystical Beasts, the supreme creatures that can't be summoned. Due to the fact that nobody can summon one the Three Great Beasts due to their inmense power, the Great Beasts can choose people instead and charge them with a little bit of their power. However, this tiny portion of power is more than enough to make a person nearly invincible. The mission of the heralds isn't only to transmit a message as their title may refer. These chosen people are given highly important missions that most of the time involve the safety of all mankind. Officially the Heralds are know as a myth, like ghosts or fairytale creatures, due to the fact until now, nobody had ever heard or seen of any Herald. People sometimes even confuse them wi Herald is a small mining center, noteworthy only for its large deposits of both common minerals and the rare duranium alloy, much prized for its use in space travel. Herald (大天使, Daitenshi)?, also known as Seraph (セラフ, Serafu)? and Hallel (熾天使, Shitenshi)? is the demon race of high ranking angels in the [//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Judeo-Christian] lore with few exceptions from [//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Zoroastrianism]. In gameplay, they usually do well in both physical and magical areas but they are focused on Magic, especially of the Expel (Light) and Almighty elements. The Drake Herald is a small, armored ship designed to safely get information from Point A to Point B. Featuring a powerful central engine (for high speed transit and generating the power needed for effective data encryption/containment), advanced encryption software and an armored computer core, the Herald is unique among personal spacecraft in that it is designed to be easily ‘cleaned’ when in danger of capture. According to the plan by Crix Madine and the Sullustan technicians who had just joined the Alliance, they needed a warhead in order to destroy the Imperial-class Star Destroyer Invincible and end Operation Strike Fear. The Rebels soon learned about a new warhead being transferred from Celanon to a deep space transfer zone by the BFF-1 bulk freighter Gafra and planned to attack it at its destination. A Herald was a bygone unofficial Consul type rank conferred upon certain Legionaries within both the Loyalist and Traitor factions as well as the Blackshields -- Space Marine outcasts and marauders of uncertain allegiances or origin -- during the Horus Heresy in the 31st Millennium. As the wars of the Horus Heresy spread to consume the galaxy, billions fought and died under the banners of warlords they had never seen or heard firsthand, and even amongst those such as the Legiones Astartes, near-religious fervour became common for those artefacts touched by Primarch, Warmaster or Regent, and given to a chosen emissary as a sign of authority and favour. He was cloned by Darth Fear using the last remnant of Somoht's dark clone DNA. He was ment to be Fear's herald, placetaker, and sometimes protecter. On the planet Lorien, during the two week period of festivities of the Quartermoon, the Elders celebrate by organizing spectacular beams of light known as Heralds. At the time of the Quartermoon and near the time of the Mogadorian Invasion of Lorien, the Mogadorians found a way to replicate the physical appearance of the Herald with the capability of draining the Loric's defenses. This was mistaken as a Herald by many Loric; however those at the LDC became suspicious, as the Elders were away and could not have created it, a team was sent to investigate. (The Last Days of Lorien) Heralds were employed by lords and other high-standing people to act as messengers as well as announcing their arrivals to other lords when visiting other places. A herald is the incarnate embodiment of a deity's will. These unique creatures are often used as messengers or to assist the followers of a god. Their appearance on Golarion is rare in the extreme, and they only ever do so with the express permission of their divine patron. Certain devout worshipers of a god may summon them using powerful spells (such as greater planar ally), but even then they only appear by divine consent and only to those who are held in the highest favor or whose need is truly great. Below is a list of known current and former heralds and their divine patrons. A Herald is a House's chief diplomat and negotiator. For the reputation of her House, she strives to keep her dealings noble and legitimate. File:Herald rar.gif Write the text of your article here! The Heralds are the servants of the Eternal One. It is a violation of Valdemar law to prevent a Companion from accessing its Chosen (Foundation). Legend says that the the Seventh Toa will have a finder whom is called the Herald of the Seventh Toa or the Herald of the Mask of Light. The Herald would find the Avohkii and then would be tasked with finding the Seventh Toa and delivering the mask to him. The Herald was Takua, but, not wanting the responsibility due to fear of messing it up, he shirked his duty and claimed that Jaller was the true Herald. As it turned out, Takua was not in fact the Herald but rather, Takanuva, the Seventh Toa. A herald is a person put in charge of making public announcements to the community. In mainstream Smurfs media, Harmony and Drummer are usually given the position of a herald to deliver public announcements from Papa Smurf to the entire Smurf community. In the story "King Smurf," Harmony served as the official royal herald to King Smurf in both interpretations of the character.

Herald is one of the many honorary titans from the show Teen Titans and comics. His power is to create portals with his horn, as well as skilled hand to hand combat. When a "youngling" or young person is chosen, the Crown may, if its family is poor, provide a stipend to cover the labor that person might have provided for the family. It is perceived as an honor to have a family member "Chosen". Heralds are Chosen because they have the ability to contribute to Valdemar, or on occasion, because they have exact skills which are desperately needed by the kingdom at the time. There is often a certain wariness that is brought on when a large number of new Heralds are Chosen, as this means one of two things: that Valdemar will be expanding in coming years, or that there will be a significant conflict or trouble in the coming years. Both of which would require more Heralds. Historically, the latter situation is more common, especially when the newly Chosen possess certain Gifts that are more suited to battle rather than diplomacy. Heralds are often chosen when their special Gift emerges; although usually chosen as young adults, a person of any age might be chosen. It is a violation of Valdemar law to prevent a Companion from accessing its Chosen (Foundation). Those who are chosen have at least one Gift which is psychic in nature (the Mage-Gift is special, and restricted in the stories to the Ashkevron line (including the royal family) after the 500 year loss of magic following the death of Vanyel Ashkevron); training completed at the Colleqium and through mentorship by fully trained Heralds, as well as provided by their Companion, enhance and develop the Gifts to their maximum which varies from Herald to Herald. Additional gifts may arise during or after the development of the first Gift. All Heralds start as Trainees, and learn law, languages, weaponry, strategy, geography, science, survival skills, orienteering, horsemanship, surveying, maths, literature and sometimes specialist topics such as disguise, spycraft, or how to use their gifts in a specific manner. Trainee Heralds wear gray; fully trained Heralds wear a white uniform sometimes referred to as "Oh Shoot Me Now" whites due to their conspicuous and visible nature. Past Herald-Trainees are noted (in Take a Thief) as including assassins, spies, foreign agents or military personnel including officers, and a host of other unexpected things, and in Take a Thief, Skif becomes the first Herald-Trainee to have been an actual thief, though Donni was an apprentice thief. The average age of a Herald-Trainee is usually twelve or thirteen, though Trainees have been known to be as varied in ages as in background. After anywhere from three to five years worth of education, the Trainee is then granted Whites and sent out on an internship of rounds with a more experienced Herald which lasts from a year to two years. Exceptions are usually made for some Trainees, including the Heir-Presumptive, who usually undergoes a long term internship serving in Haven's Courts and other duties within Haven, and those who have certain special abilities which cannot be risked, including Herald-Mages. Certain roles within Valdemar, such as being Monarch or the Monarch's special advisor ("The Monarch's Own") require that the holder be a Herald, thus a presumed heir to the throne must be "Chosen" to be an heir (Arrows of the Queen). Heralds all form strong mind-to-mind bonds (called "Mindspeech") with their Companions, even those who are not able to speak mind to mind with anyone else. The Companions use this to maintain a web of communications keeping all Heralds and companions linked. Heralds are called "The Arrows of the Queen," and serve the Kingdom of Valdemar and its Monarch as messengers, spies, information-gatherers, peace-keepers and civil marshals. They also serve as leaders in times of crisis. They serve on "circuit," where they cover a section of Valdemar to resolve civil disputes, support the Guards in maintaining order, uphold Valdemaran law, and act as the representatives of the Crown. Fair, incorruptible, self-sacrificing, and above question due to the mystical nature of their Companions, the Heralds are respected throughout Valdemar and feared by her enemies. Heralds are held to an extraordinarily high moral standard. If a Herald or Herald-Trainee does not abide by this moral standard, they will be hounded by their Companion until they fall into line, and one who does unforgivable acts will generally be repudiated by their Companion. This will usually be followed up by the Companion's suicide in some manner or another. The result for the repudiated Herald or Herald-Trainee is generally a wound so deep that it may mar the soul, though that is not assured, but it will also quite commonly leave the victim catatonic as a result, blankly nonresponsive. Those who are responsive, are typically insane to the point that they are unable to use any Gifts that they might possess. However, repudiation does not necessarily mean that one is relieved of their Herald status, as when Tylendel was repudiated, the Death Bell tolled for him, indicating that he was accepted by the Companions as a full Herald and should be buried with Herald's honors. One can assume that Tylendel was given this distinction because his repudiation and the terrible acts that caused it were in turn caused by severe psychological trauma. The Blackshields, having obscured their heraldry or cast aside former masters were no different, their strange sigils or blackened flags becoming totems of destruction and the foresworn. Amongst the Blackshields, these emissaries were known as Dark Heralds. The Drake Herald is a small, armored ship designed to safely get information from Point A to Point B. The Herald is a minor character in the film Cinderella. He is mostly bald and wears a white wig. At the time of the Quartermoon and near the time of the Mogadorian Invasion of Lorien, the Mogadorians found a way to replicate the physical appearance of the Herald with the capability of draining the Loric's defenses. An initial Rebel attack left the Gafra damaged and stranded before withdrawing. However, the freighter was still protected by a field of mines around it. Keyan Farlander in a Y-wing cleared them out and disabled the freighter. When that was done, the Herald came and boarded the freighter. Imperial transports came and attempted to destroy the freighter before it could fall into enemy hands, but Farlander was able to drive them off. With the help of abducted Cygnus Corp staff, the warhead was then delivered to the Invincible in a shuttle modified to appear to be an Imperial vessel, and the Star Destroyer was blown up from the inside. Herald is a small mining center, noteworthy only for its large deposits of both common minerals and the rare duranium alloy, much prized for its use in space travel. Herald is an NPC in Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra. Herald is the title given to a chosen person by one of the Great Three Mystical Beasts, the supreme creatures that can't be summoned. People sometimes even confuse them with the Jinchuriki, and finally Heralds were discard as an old crazy tale. The legends says there are three requirements for being choose as Herald: 1. You must have pure heart, an unstoppable courage and a wise and clear mind. 2. You must be able to quit to everything and to everyone in this world. 3. And finally you must die. Isn't clear if these requirements are the offical ones or just part of the legend. Neither for the Heralds themselves is clear why they were chosen in the first places, they think that the Great Beast look more than just the main requirements, they see something inside them that anyone else sees, neither the Heralds themselves. The only Heralds in this moment are: Hikari: The Yang Herald of the Dragon Emperor / Kagemaru: The Ying Herald of the Dragon Emperor / Shion: The Herald of the Black Fire Phoenix / Kya: The Herald of the Sacred White Tiger As shown with Kagemaru, Shion and Kya, you don't have to be talented, powerful or even a shinobi to become an Herald, making the process of selection more mysterious. These chosen people keep their identities as Heralds secretly and even in cases like Shion and Kya they take new identities, but in cases like these, it mostly depends on the circunstances of their life and deaths. Roughly the size of a regular Goliath, Heralds are the pinnacle of psionic technologies from both the Xel'Naga and the Protoss. Its basic structure is a hybridized version of Terran and Protoss anatomy. Heralds have the torso, hands and head of the Protoss for its upper body strength. While the leg area is based off the Terran anatomy for stability, but much more streamlined for smoother and faster movement. The legs area is also outfitted with special gravity accelerators to allow movement in zero-g environments. They are powered by a variant of Khaydarin Crystals. This allows Heralds to handle psionic-based technologies with ease. For personal defense, Heralds are equipped with gauntlets based off Protoss technology modified to channel raw Cosmic Energies. However, their primary weapon is a powerful Quantum Lance made for psionically manipulating Cosmic Forces in more versatile ways. No matter how strong the substance, a Quantum lance annihilates anything into subatomic particles either by pure force or blasting it with psionic lightning. Should they see fit, Heralds temporarily EMPOWER allies beyond normal limits by channeling cosmic energies into them. Empowered units soon find their attacks, abilities, and shields (if present) at least twice as strong as they were before (DC Comics: Blue Lantern Ring). By forming small gravitational fields around objects, Heralds create miniature ASTEROID BELTS with nearby debris (Warcraft III: Shaman; Transformers - ROTF: The Fallen). Small units foolish enough to enter the field are immediately swept into the gravitational field and smashed against debris and anything else caught in the field. This makes an incredibly effective defense against both close range and missile attacks. Heralds also utilizes the Terran's transformation technology to switch from COMMAND to FORERUNNER Mode. Despite being reformatted into war machines, they have kept some exploratory functions due to the Xel'Naga's programing. By transforming into Herald-Mode, they become almost as small as a Protoss Observer due to molecular compression technology. In this form, Heralds appear as miniature versions of Energy creatures clad in armor travelling through air, space and hyperspace at unrivaled speeds. Even if Protoss Observers have Gravitic Boosters, they could never reach the speeds of the Heralds. Originally used for sensing life forms across galaxies, their LONG RANGE SENSORS allow them to easily detect anything on a planet psionic or not. Their main sensor doubles as a Gravitic Beam Cannon capable of matching and overpowering a Void Ray Prismatic Beam. If worse comes to worse and Heralds find themselves overwhelmed, they call forth a powerful METEOR SHOWER to rain destruction anywhere they choose (Warcraft III: Priestess of the Moon; Transformers - Animated: Magnus Hammer). Once used by the Xel'Naga to seed worlds, the "Meteors" mainly consist of unstable Proteus crystals formed from nearby asteroids. These crystals are so unstable they can assimilate any kind of matter that comes in contact with them and explode with tremendous force. Heralds can completely exterminate an entire planet if given enough energy. Special abilities: * Command Mode (Default - Ground): * EMPOWER - target friendly units and doubles their attack, Plasma shields and Energy (if present). Empowered spells last and deal twice as much damage. Effect lasts for 30 seconds * ASTEROID BELT - target unit or building gains 500 HP shield of debris. Asteroid belt deals 30 damage to nearby small units and adds larger, heavier units to the shield. Effect lasts for 45 seconds * Forerunner Mode (Air): * LONG RANGE SENSORS (passive) - reveals entire map and cloaked/burrowed/mimiced units. Units with energy are marked similar to a Terran Sensor tower * METEOR SHOWER (Ultimate) - calls down waves of meteor strikes in an area. Each wave deals 60 damage. Time between waves 1.5 seconds. Units and structures that "survive" are encased in highly volatile crystals that explode with force equal to half their original health Herald (大天使, Daitenshi)?, also known as Seraph (セラフ, Serafu)? and Hallel (熾天使, Shitenshi)? is the demon race of high ranking angels in the [//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Judeo-Christian] lore with few exceptions from [//en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Zoroastrianism]. In gameplay, they usually do well in both physical and magical areas but they are focused on Magic, especially of the Expel (Light) and Almighty elements. The original naming of this race, "Seraph", is a misnomer due to the fact that except for Seraph itself, the rest of the demons included in this race are not of the rank of Seraph in any religious tradition. Most of the Judeo-Christian angels in this race are simply classified as "Archangel". File:Herald rar.gif Write the text of your article here! A herald is the incarnate embodiment of a deity's will. These unique creatures are often used as messengers or to assist the followers of a god. The Herald, affectionally known as Harold and officially designated the DH Herald, served as messenger and announcer for Eris. He was responsible for relaying important information about Dragonhollow to her residents. The Herald was something of a controversial figure. While many newcomers found his words of wisdom insightful, others wished he'd just shut the hell up. Reaching the Omega Point Note: It is unknown whether Shokaract gave this same title to his second-in-command in the Fun Publications comics, or whether it could be considered the equivalent of the "Champion of Unicron" title held by Nemesis Prime. A Herald is a House's chief diplomat and negotiator. For the reputation of her House, she strives to keep her dealings noble and legitimate. Categoría:Personajes menores Legend says that the the Seventh Toa will have a finder whom is called the Herald of the Seventh Toa or the Herald of the Mask of Light. The Heralds are the servants of the Eternal One. Heralds were employed by lords and other high-standing people to act as messengers as well as announcing their arrivals to other lords when visiting other places.
