n3:abstract
Robert George was a goaltender who first appeared for the French National Team at the 1914 LIHG Championship. He later played for France at the European Championships in 1923 and 1924. Chaudron was a member of the French team at the 1928 Winter Olympics hockey tournament. He was also a reserve at the 1924 European Championship. His entire club career was spent with Club des Patineurs de Paris (later known as CSH Paris). George was responsible for creating the famous crocodile logo of the Lacoste clothing company. He was good friends with the company's founder, René Lacoste, and made a bet with him over a Davis Cup tennis match Lacoste was playing in. Lacoste was supposed to win a crocodile skin bag, but George did not give it to him. He instead embroidered a crocodile logo on Lacoste's tennis shirt - the design that wound up being his company's trademark.
